Taloe of Kingdsoms is being updated with permission from the creator, but it isn't multiplayer.

Really? well that's good! I thought it was entirely abandoned!

The creator hasn't been busy with it since 1.2.5, but I played it in 1.3.something. It's still there, don't know if it is there for 1.4.6, but I think it is.
The creator is however making a bigger and better mod.

How about some of us create a custom mod pack and test them to see how good they are and if it would be able to be made into a server and after testing we will report back to this forum (the custom mod packs must have most tekkit mods and twilight forest mod.)

orkd, it's best if we use a pre-made mod pack that everyone has access to, instead of everyone having to get all the mods together to be able to join.

For simplicity's sake, and for up to date mods with very little (next to no) compatability issues, FtB is the way to go.

Also, when the Ultimate Pack comes out, and Dark get's the new server up, if you need help with Thaumcraft just ask me! I'll be glad to help you with your magical problems!

Question: Is the current server using large biomes, and if so will the new one? I'm finding it hard to tell. =P

Neither of the current servers use large biomes, nor will the new one. However, FtB includes the ExtraBiomes XL mod, which adds new biome types, some with new materials too.

It should be noted that the Extrabiomes XL wood don't have Thaumcraft Aspects, but most the items they make do.
Just saying

This is an awful idea.

It was an experiment to see if redstone engines could power a quarry. The answer is a resounding no.

Actually, they can.
If you connect them to conductive golden pipes. An engine attached to another engine makes it reach full capacity faster, not make more energy in total.

Is that so? Having said that, later versions of Buildcraft don't link wooden pipes and RS engines.

You have to use conductive wooden pipes to get power from the engines

dammit! I meant conductive Wooden Pipes, but according to the wiki, they don't work. I'll test it in FTB.

Well, that was a bug a while back...

Though I'm currently only using hobbiest steam engines in ftb, so maybe they are still bugged...

I can confirm that Redstone engines linked to conductive wooden pipes do nothing.

I think that's an intentional change for the new versions. They said they didn't want people using redstone engines for free power.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

I don't see why they'd make redstone engines worse- I would just make steam better. I use redstone because it's safe, and I don't want to risk my precious machines blowing up, even at the cost of efficiency.
