The only way left that you could get through is by pinpoint digging accuracy into a specific place, count on a security system I have hooked up not being on, then the use of a destruction catalyst and a hacking system to break through.
Ultimately, if my base is on full lockdown, there's no way of getting in
May I have your permission to attempt to break in?
can't remember what you know about the various secrets in my base, but sure, as long as you can do it without breaking stuff (a couple of blocks here or there is fine as long as you replace them, but nothing like destruction catalysts, nova catalysts, morning star etc.)
I have no intentions of using any WMDs, however, I have lost the coords to your base, it seems. (Had to reinstall Tekkit a bit ago and lost my waypoints)

Pretty much if you can figure out where the forcefield generator thing is you can destroy it.
You would destroy most of the area doing so though, so I think it kinda defies the point of trying to break in.

There's a 1 meter wide gap leading straight to it!
I'm planning my bag of tricks to get in before I make my move.

Destruction catalysts bypass the forcefield and can destroy the core.
When I was playing around with forcefields I accidently set one up and got stuck outside it, so I just blasted it and picked it back up.

my main forcefield is large enough so that a destruction catalyst can't reach it

also, I didn't know of a 1x1 hole leading to my forcefield...

An item no one else has because no one sees the point... I can dig to bedrock with one hit, so... :evillaugh: not that I'll do that, as that's just too much to replace. I mean, sure I would replace it, but it would take forever to put you base together again...

Yeah thats the problem with the destruction catalyst, cant quite reach through a large forcefield.
Thats why I have a catalytic lens. I think it has a 64 block range.

ah, so someone else did make the lense.
I think it does have a 64 block range
so, if we do get to destroy the server when it closes down and shrike leaves his forcefield on... good bye base!

so really, there's no way to stop someone getting into your base, as long as they have a catalytic lens?
everything but a forcefield can be mined, and a forcefield can be shot through.

yep, pretty much. Unless you make something like a 65x65x65 forcefiled... but is that even possible? actually, it would have to be larger to have a base, so you'd have to make sure you had 65 blocks of air between the forcefield and the wall of your base.
