I do like the look of that defense network... it'll probably be really expensive though.
"Whilst we stand, we fight. Whilst we fight, we prevail. Nothing shall stay our wrath" Guilliman and the Ultramarines are like Manchester United, everyone hates them because they are so awesome!
ok so new paint sets and case plus new baseing sets ...isnt this what they normaly release over xmas ? wounder what rubish they will churn out for then ?

In the text accompanying the pic of the defense line it says that
the mantlets can be adorned with a "selection of highly detailes front pieces".
That's good news because defense lines should be functional, not decorative...
Saw in a "Xmas gift guide" the trench network is £100, for a couple of bunkers, a few lengths and whatnot.
guess its another case of "Expensive, but quick and easy" vs "Cheap, but lot of time and labour"

Love the top half of the Warshrine but just not into the mutant things sadly, seems a bit off for khorne and looks like it belongs to tzeentch more than anything. Definately converting that bad boy.
Edit: Perhaps mounting the top half on the back of a stonehorn or something.
Snow basing kit looks just what I need for my WoC.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"
New models and no army book. WTH. This has got to be one of the biggest jokes GW has come up with since finecast. WoC is one of the books that needs to be re-done and, well, anyhow. The models look great tho. Love their take on the war shrine, very nice and Festus, very cool. Guess there will be one of those add it booklets in the WD for the new units. Happy gaming anyway.

What crap are you talking about? The 2011 Mega Paint Set? It might pique your curiosity to know that they new paints did not yet exist, and at that time, it was a fantastic deal, with fantastic presentation. I don't know what makes it 'crap'.
It's nice that they're offering it, but frankly, it isn't a good deal anymore, and 150 paints is just overkill, even for a great painter. When I bought the old mega paint set, I hardly even dipped into about 50 of the paints. Most of the new paints are just redundant and can easily be substituted with blending. Yeah, you get a more consistent color, especially if you're doing a whole army, but that doesn't justify the cost :3

I like the Khornate Skullcrushers. Seeing as they removed the solo Khorne Juggerlord, I may pick up a set if its cheap enough, use the spares to sell or use the rides as CSMs and the Juggers as seperate models (think a walking PA lord with a Juggernaut on a leash) or GK basings...

I want one, but I also want to know how much it will hurt to get it.
because you have to have this price is not an option

Be pure in mind, body and spirit. As the water flows over you, let your hate flow through you. As the lost water is spilt, let us spill the blood of our foes. As the water dries, let us harden our hearts to fear. We are the Dark Angels, the chosen of the Emperor, the holy knights of Caliban. The blood of the Lion flows through our veins. His strength beats in our hearts. His spirit resides within us.
Scenario: You are an infantryman in the Guard. Lieutenant Blather has just volunteed you for a mission. "LISTEN UP! I need you to get these ammo crates to Captain Jones ASAP. The enemy is pushing in on our position so keep your head down or it will be shot off." You stack the ammo crates onto your little push cart and off you go.
Now, looking at the picture below, can anyone else spot the inherant design flaw?

It's a pretty big kit with a pretty big price tag.

Somewhere, somehow, a guardsman named Ramirez is getting yelled at to do everything.
