I remember when I was assembling my Ork Deff Dreads and Killa Kans, I had picked up one of my Kans without looking, and this one I gave the tusks on the front, which had subsequently pricked me and drew blood. Damn spikey spikes everywhere. I feel sorry for Dark Eldar.

Worst things I've put together I think was Eldar warwalkers. Or DE raiders/venoms >.<

Use clippers, scissors or so forth to get them out of sprues if you want to preserve your fingers.

I was stabbed in the arm with a 2nd ed Grot. The spike on his helmet drew blood. Also, be thankful you don't play Chaos. Push-fit models that are absolutely covered in spikes and sharp bits is one of the harsher experiences I've had building models.

Dv chosen. "So this model is just pushed together, and the ped is right on the other side of this spike, covered in spikes"

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

The old metal bloodthirster got me quite a few times. It was done on purpose i think though. Then you could shed blood for the blood god building it.

Look at the bright side; you get realistic looking blood on those spikes.

At least it's easier than the Ghost Ark. That's the hardest model I've ever assembled.

yea ive been stabbed and scratched up a few times building models. i would have to say the worst kits are the killa kans/deff dreads, although i have been injured by my ogres and dark eldar a few times. the worst however was my phantom titan. was trimming off one of the gems with a heavy duty box cutter. slipped and sliced open my finger. 6 stitches later i was at it again, only to stab the same hand with the same knife. no stitches, but i bled like a stuck pig. thankfully it didnt scar up too bad. needless to say i learned to be MUCH more careful when using knofes to trim off gigantic resim gemstones off eldar titans.

For sure, I only have one walker because stuff it took to put it together, and it still looks awful. And some of the Ork models weren't too bad, assembling a 100 at a time was no easy task though.

WAAAGH!!!

Tell ya what, I'll take some of those mean old orks off your bleeding hands and give em a good home.

I'll trade some nice, not sharp Cadians!

Oh who am I kidding, everytime I pull my guardsmen out of my foam, there's 3 or 4 cadians stuck to the bottom of each sheet, where their little bayonets got stuck in. Pretty hilarious to watch, those Guardsmen never go down without a fight.

I got stabbed by a building from the Imperial Sector once, I stumbled on a bookbag and put my hand out to catch myself, taking a spike right through the meat of a finger and drawing blood.

You just need more commissars.
