I actually think that (if the front gunner was removed) it would look kind of cool.

That gunner completely ruins it. Not as bad as the OTHER version of it

It'd look great. Give it a normal Land Speeder front, and lose the stupid mini-cathedral gak in the passenger seat so you can restore the gunner to where he should be, and you've got a very cool looking 'heavy land speeder'. Right now you just have a gaudy awkward unbalanced mess.

The gunner is great too imho. Infact it makes the model.

WTF, HBMC did we just agree?

that's what a land speeder does- hovers a few feet off the ground.

Actually they are meant to fly about 12 ft up, look at all the artwork for them, they are like low planes not skimmers like the eldar or tau tanks. These look more like they are low skimmers like the alien tanks.

Huh, I always imagined them hovering maybe 3 feet above the ground, but with the ability to go higher at the cost of fuel and handling.

This is still sillier than that aircraft model that was linked to.

No, THIS is the silliest one. That one at least uses big guns.

what makes that model that much sillier is the gunner's still there- what's he doing now, watching porn on his monitor?
If they were going to make it optional to remove the plasmas and shove a mini-church on it, it should have made it set into the circle where the gunner was, not stick it behind him.

Has anyone mentioned the Church-a-pult?

They kind of made sense in Return of the King where they were defending a fixed position and using abandoned chunks of the city as weapons.

But for a field battle? Do the Bretonnians really have that many abandoned shrines they can use them as ammo? What about overseas?

So yeah, Church-a-pult.

I don't think you have to use the Church pillar provided, you could probably use rocks or stone. It's simply showing them using ruins as ammunition, it isn't very silly.

Yeah, IRL they used hunks of rock all the time. If there is a convenient stone building nearby its free ammunition.

Though, to be fair, they usually fired as soon as they were in range, instead of politely abandoning the advantage of having an indirect fire weapon placed on the side of a mountain.

God that third LotR movie was awful, lol.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Hey! That Trebuchet was awesome, take it back...

Aside from this, what about this 'luvverly lady' from the SoB range?

What the hell?! She looks like an overweight bearded lady with whips.. Maybe she's just pissed because the Repentia are lithe and lethal and she's just doughboy fat? Aside from all this, surely women who are hell bent on proving themselves and repenting their sins in the crucible of battle don't need a Fat Controller? So, pointless and a horrible mini to boot....
