they hold an item which is a relic of some sort, gives the unit fear and adamantium will, so deny the witch on a 5+
death wing are 44 points a model, can be 10 man squads

/tg/ is a board of 4chan.org for "Traditional games" they have a decent warhammer community
the ravenwing command squad do have all plasma talons which are the guns, and regulars have all boltguns.
Cypher has a fluff blurb

Mace of absolution is a power maul with all the same rules +1, bane of traitors it has +1 ap on chaos space marines
so it is ap 4 all the time, and ap 3 on chaos marines
they can go smite mode and become strength 10 ap 2
flail is +3 strength, ap 3, bane o traitors concussive
Azraels still holds the helmet that gives his unit a 4 up invulvn, but it really is still a decoration

they have nothing going for them. They're not very good at all, really. air fighter has a twin linked heavy bolter, twin linked las cannon, and six krak grenade missles, can strafe on ground targets (even though its the air fighter?), doesn't scatter with missles, and can lose the las cannon for an avenger heavy bolter for free. Avenger is s 5, ap 4, heavy 5. 180 points. can turn weapon destroyed on enemies to immobilized
ground attack is 160, two hurricane bolters, rift cannon (gak), stasis bomb (must be used at the perfect time), and it can hover strike. Somehow. It stops flying and just floats to shoot. 160 points. Automatically Appended Next Post: http://pastebin.com/midsN5T9
someone made this from some of the stuff that has been covered on the /tg/ thread, so you can look over it. if you want the thread, I've taken pictures of the pages Automatically Appended Next Post: Texanity wrote:what weapon options does Belial have, other than the sword/bolter (which I assume is the stock loadout)?
lightning claws, thunderhammer storm shield. They're free
Texanity wrote:and if you care to briefly explain the difference between terminators and ... "knight" terminators? I don't know what they are called, they have the HUGE shields.
Knights are all close combat, deathwing can be shooty or close combat. Deathwing are twin linked the turn they show up. Knight's weapons wail on chaos space marines, can go smite mode to destory termies. They can always precision hit, which is bad for characters. The weapons also have +1 ap against chaos marines. I think those are all the differences
xSPYXEx wrote:What are the Warlord traits?

3 warlord and 12 inch bubble are cold blooded
4 warlord and unit have furious charge
5 increase and decrease reserve rolls by 1
6 warlord and unit have feel no pain when on objective

What I heard is that the TH/ SS is more expensive, similar to that of SW Termies.

OP whats the definitive answer on the halberd of caliban? I've been hearing its a nerfed power axe, str +2 ap3 unwieldy, I've been hearing its an amazing power weapon at +2 str ap2 strikes at int.

Nah, that's a sword (though I think it is only S+1) for the RW Champ (only 5 points or so apparently). The Halberd is S+2 AP2, no unwieldy so it strikes at initiative. So nasty in the extreme. Makes DW Command Squad champs pretty good in a challenge.

How much are bike squads? What options do they have?
I am curious to know if they will replace C:SM as bike armies.
Can you add a typhoon with them? Is the MM bike the same cost as a C:SM one?
Heck, can you just give a pic of the army entry lol.

No the RW Champion's sword (glorified power axe on a budget) is apparently 5 points. I think the Halberd may just come with the Deathwing Champion (can't remember).

Well, if you have a character join, they get FNP as well. That might be worth it.
49 points for TH/SS termies. Thats nearly 25% more expensive than C:SM.

I think the points increase on TH/ SS is perfectly resonable. 2+ saves already got a great improvement, and TH/ SS were considered under-costed by most anyway. They have risen in price in every codex since the SM one, so this can't be a big surprise.
