One of my mates met Brian Johnson at a racing event thing, and then he stayed over for a barbecue. I was gakked off at him

JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.

i hope you are back to health? what´s on the menu? on days like this i expect some intriguing delicacies from you... where is the meal shot?...or is it chicken soup still?...hmmm....
our Christmas festivities are already over...the kids really enjoyed their jabbas palace presents...(they actually expected playmobil...but i am atm dead against more playmobil...of course more lego NEVER hurts  )
i plan to be online now again more frequent... i have left dakka all alone for way too long...the receding traffic speaks volumes...
so expect the weirdest...again^^

The Bon Scott era AC/ DC was always my favorite.
I think Powerage is my favorite album though it has no #1 hits on it. Such a complete effort. Probably helped that Scott was going through a divorce when he wrote it. Women who done you wrong make such great inspiration.

Heh..I didn't eat much Vik. Still blowing my nose and coughing a lot. Mom's sugar cookies sure tasted good with their cream cheese frosting though I'm just finishing some Christmas Eve medicinal whiskey and trotting off to bed. Merry Christmas everybody!

Thanks for all the well-wishes guys! It turns out I wasn't halfway done. Christmas eve, I coughed so much, I ended up with laryngitis on top of everything. So the fevers are gone, but I can't talk! We spent Christmas day napping and watching Mel Brooks movies. Do you know how much it sucks to not be able to laugh at Young Frankenstein?

Heh Theo..not as long as I can type I still have many more naps in my future before I've kicked this though. I don't ever remember being this sick before! The occasional cough still hurts like a mother though.
@Graven- Did you get the MoFi (Original Master recording?) That's awesome! I still have my old copy (in partied-with condition ) I only need a clean copy of Highway to Hell to finish out my Bon Scott collection and Blow Up Your Video and newer for the Brian Johnson years.

Awesome Cussoo BTTF Delorean Dave, my boy also got the model from his grandparents - got put together on Christmas Day and played with every day since He also got the Lego Batman / Twoface set (batmobile in that one) and the Batboat. Santa brought him the Lego Grand Emporium (to go with his Palace Cinema), a huge set that took both kids most of the day to build...

My son specializes in the Lego city sets. He has an army of police trucks and fire engines. For one Lego city they have five police departments now . He also got some glowing light bricks that he's crazy about.

LEGO City is definitely a Police State! -You can buy all the Municipal sets at any Wal-Mart or TRU, but you can only get the Civilian buildings exclusively from LEGO stores for some reason
My modulars are the crown jewels of my collection too!
