I just got a shipping notice as well, going out today to be delivered tomorrow. I doubt that. Lol. Also, mine is 10.8lbs, I feel like a lightweight next to some of you with 30+lb packages...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Surprised at that, seeing as you paid for courier shipping.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

Just putting together some of the plague troopers. Must say im really impressed with them. They got a huge amount of detail to their skin, more so than some nurgle plaguebearers I was working on recently. They really are sweet figures although I know their not to everybody's taste. I cant wait to put an army of them together along with the plastic plague zombies.

It's Fedex's crappy shipping manager software. If you create a shipment in it, it assumes it will be shipped immediately and will arrive in the shortest possible time. In reality, the shipment has been created, digitally (it's id is the tracking number), and the physical shipment will not exist until it's been physically packed and the physical label has been applied to it and scanned into the system - usually the first time is by the Fedex employee who is receiving the goods onto the Fedex truck.

So all this means is Mantic is prepping everyone's shipments, transferring the customer info into their Fedex ship manager software... it could be a day, or a week, before your physical shipment gets actually scanned as 'received by Fedex'. Then the estimated delivery date will update with a real estimate.

"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... " - Rick Priestley "I've decided that I'd rather not have you as a member of TMP." - Editor, The Miniatures Page "I'd rather put my testicles through a mangle than spend any time gaming with you." - Richard, TooFatLardies "We need a Doug Craig in every store." - Warlord Games "Thank you for being here, Judge Doug!" - Adam Troke

Anyone know what to use the reverse connectors for? The ones that seem to make 2 panels overlap each other? - Are they for open doors or something?

I think the new e-peen is going to be heft of Mantic packages!

(Nineteen pounds here baby!)

My pledge is still only $11.

Does anyone use the reverse connectors for anything on the terrain?

On first impression they really don't to have the stength to do much and I can't see why you'd use them instead of a right angle or a horizontal one.

I have no idea at the moment, noticed them tonight and thought they were odd. Wondered if they were for putting the fortified door in a semi closed position.

Have you used the stairs yet? They look like originally they were ment to clip together to make one set.

Those building kits are looking great all painted up. Starting to regret not getting in on the KS but I couldn't afford it at the time. Might look into a retail copy with xmas money

As promised some more pics as we get ready to play Deadzone this weekend on the Anime Wars Battle Board with the 3" Grid Overlays.

The basing and conversions for two models where purely used from the Deadzone Scenery from the Deadzone Boxset. The weapons are from the Deadzone Scenery sprue to, did some cutting and made them into hammers

We messed around and had a lot of fun. Swapped some of the arms around

I got a second notification as well, same tracking # but no progress. I don't understand FedEx's system. I'm pretty sure my Deadzone box is still waiting to be packed in the mantic warehouse, and won't be delivered by 10.30am tomorrow.

Good god man, way to be optimistic. Mine is getting delivered tomorrow by a naked Jessica Alba wearing angel wings.

Hah! Now that's the way to be TTW I, however, and extremely married and therefore shall not be saying "me too". No sir. I'll cross my fingers that it is at least somewhat accurate though, and maybe my box will actually ship tomorrow or the next day, and then be here by the end of the week

It's better than my WWX shipment at the moment, last update leaving a sorting facility in California on Saturday. I'm not sure what the point of tracking information is when packages get put on three or four day long travel segments...

In a van down by the river

The best part is when there's no information for 3-4 days and it skips to delivered, and magically about 7 scans show up for those days after the fact.

I'm reasonably sure Ronnie's video said they weren't shipping "for real" until Wednesday anyway as they waited on the last components. If it's here next week that'd be good enough for me, though the weather is going to be nice Friday so if by some miracle they get it here I wouldn't argue...

^What Krinsath said. If its here by the middle of the month I'm good, any earlier is much gravy.

I got that same exact notification - good thing you're a fellow New Englander, so I can totally believe it is 100% still happening.

On my Birthday no less!

I keep checking my fedex number, hoping my package is suddenly going to travel halfway across the world in the span of a few hours.

All the more irritating is I'm also waiting on a large pile of Black Friday purchases that are in various states of transit.

I want my new toys! It's not like I have piles and piles and boxes and boxes of unpainted stuff laying around!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Mine too! Just hope they try to deliver it whilst the cleaner is about (or leave it next door).
