Not sure. If shipping is blowing out by several weeks I don't see how it would be anything but a smarter option to concentrate on fulfilment properly rather than splitting staff in two directions - and ship just before or just after things like GenCon or Salute - not during!
So are people getting notifications first or just packages?

I received a second box for my Wave 2 items, everything appears to be in order and good quality. The zombies are interesting, I'll be anxious to see how easy they are to convert a bit.

I'd love to see you paint them up! You are a talented painter.
I've got some time off work in a couple of weeks. I'd love it if my DZ actually arrived before that so I can play around with it, but I don't like my chances of that happening
I haven't done much in the way of miniatures since I found out the hard way that my dog is now big enough to reach my project bench. Fortunately, he mostly ate Mantic minis, some Samurai and some of the Sedition Wars bits I was gathering for a project. Mostly.
Suddenly, pre-assembled minis are looking more attractive.
Hardback book is really nice, it'd be handy if it had the title down the spine though. In 20 years time I'm going to be repeatedly taking it off the bookshelf to see what it is.
Asterian Cyphers are pretty spindly, but don't seem too bad, flashwise (I've noticed a few bits on the shoulders, which are pretty straight lines). The potential was there for them to be awful.
Integrated base-dislikers will be pleased to know that the Asterians as a range do not have them, none of the Cyphers or the Commander. I like this, as I've been cutting everything off and rebasing onto Renedra, which is now one step easier.
One of my inner bags is missing a head and weapon, which probably means I need to check each bag properly for each part... ugh... and I wanted a weekend.
Striders are pretty chunky, lots more parts in the bags than I can be bothered to look through right now (I know there are 3 variants). Again it looks like flash is minimal, except on the heads (of the pilots), which almost have a transverse restic crest. Fortunately there's the option of the closed cockpit.
They seem to have missed one of the battlezones I ordered (I mean, they were BOGOFF on the survey, weren't they? Didn't anyone wonder why they were only packing one?)
Also missed my connector bundle... which I'll definitely need at some point.
“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”
Watching the BoW video from this weekend about the Mars Attacks release, the MA marines make me really excited about how good the Corp Marines will be in the WP kickstarter.
The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

That pretty much means I'm obligated to paint some zombies up, and soon

Got my stuff Friday as well. The resin enforcer pathfinder looks very nice. I seem to have ordered a strider, plauge strider and a ruined BZ that I don't remember ordering lol. Have not had a proper look at everything yet but the metal characters are all flash lol! The SW plastic board looks very nice its got so many attachments that I have no idea what they all do!

Nope, just me being blind earlier, just went through to do a proper look at everything, and the 2 parts were loose in the bag, missed them earlier.
So just need to get my missing battlezone and connectors sorted... is it still the google docs form for that?

Good to see that Mantic's packing QA is as good as ever. Perhaps I won't be closing the book on this KS in Sept-Oct, but Nov-Dec as I work with them (and their response delays) in order to get everything sorted out...
/sigh
Considering every other KS shipment I've received from them has had issues, that usually take weeks/months to resolve, I'm going to go with pessimism, despite what you guys want to believe. BTW, Todosi, you have no way of knowing if it's widespread (as was widely reported in their previous campaigns, and even they admitted to it) - or occasional, so you might want to refrain from making empirical statements when you clearly have no idea.
Even stuff I've bought retail from mantic have had packing errors. It's a pretty huge issue with them. That and taking weeks to respond to issues. I want them to do well, but it's pretty apparent that they are lacking in those two departments.
Making assumptions and believing what we want to (y'know, like pessimism?) is exactly what you're doing too. I didn't actually say one way or the other, however, I just said let's wait and see.
