That'd actually make a nice alternate backpack for Malifaux's Kaeris. The current one looks too small.

I hope these Puppetswar jump jacks are of a decent size.

I'm not terribly fussed. Tre' is a nice guy, and his models arrived six months late. Expecting customers to drop everything and go through them immediately would be ...unreasonable. Sedition Wars I got 3x Biohazard and a ton of extras - again months late (and no word on Wave 2). I do have 2 broken items in there so far, but triple biohazard is a lot of figures to go through, and I haven't finished them. I'm sure CMON will fix it, though with their usual quality post-KS communication and speed.

Mantic did deliver on time, but it really wasn't worth going through them until I recently read somewhere here that they're willing to replace badly-cut figures as well as miscasts, and they've always had good CS. Puppetswar... well, this thread, my photos of the initial casts and the sheer amount of time taken (now 3 months for what should have been a 2-3 week turnaround) makes me pretty confident that they will be quite reasonable.

Back to current events. Both versions of those Jump Packs look very nice indeed. I'll wait and see what the castings look like "in the flesh" through posts here before I order any, though. If I wasn't rather cautious about PW these days, I'd easily be ordering 10x of each with my next pay.

Hello, actually just made this account because of a Puppetswar order. It's my first time ordering, and they say it takes 12 days to assemble the package. How long does it normally take? It's been 12 days, and nothing has happened. Also, the contact page is still broken.

After packing the package, they have to send it via mail. So don't panic and wait until it arrives.

it takes them roughly a month to get an order to the states. You aren't even halfway there yet.

It took mine last year about three months to show up. I'm unfamiliar with how international shipping works in Poland but the slow service completely undermines the quality of their stuff for customers in the US.

It often takes that long for stuff to get from the states to the UK

(some companies can do better but 2-3 weeks is typical)

Sorry, I meant how long does it take to pack the orders? It's still stuck at "payment accepted"

I imagine he's talking about getting a shipping confirmation. They took a month just to SEND my well-documented order, and this was when they claimed "5-7 working days" to send. Note, they say "business days", so by 12 days they mean 2 and a half weeks before they send. If you're lucky.

I've gotten about 3-4 orders from Kromlech in the last couple of months and also just got a pile of stuff from Maxmini a week ago. Both are located in Poland. I've also gotten the original and replacement PW orders. Every one of those 7 shipments from 3 different suppliers from Poland in a large variety of package sizes took 2-3 weeks.

There's always the possibility that a postal service will feth up - it does happen and has happened to me with items ordered from abroad a number of times in the past few years, but it's really quite rare and unusual for things to take much more than an extra week that whatever is considered "usual".

I want to order a bunch of bits from these guys, but my confidence in their quality is a bit lacking currently...

Jetbike has been released to the store:

http://www.puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=212

I notice there are no weapons. And I think the cowling could use more detail. But, i've never really been a big fan of jetbikes in general.

Did the Nuclear Heater guns ever get released? I thought they did, but they're nowhere to be seen in the store. In fact, none of the magnetic guns except the gatling guns are there now.

Has anyone ordered the soldiers? I'd love to see a review on them. The more I look at them, the more I like them, but with the horror stories that have cropped up, I'm not so sure I want to take the plunge myself.

Which soldiers? They've put out a few different varieties of infantry figures now. I've got some of the first version, though their review time is a little way down the queue.

Any version really. The current ones don't seem to be all that different from the previous versions except that their arms are better posed, and don't have hands, shoulder pads, or heads. From your experience, would you at least say that they are worth the money?

I got mine (unasked for) as part of an apology from PW or the 3-month saga that's documented in several of the previous pages. I didn't get the standard heads with them though.

I just took these pics and uploaded them now. Apologies for the crappy night-time light and lack of sharp focus. I threw in the marine for scale. These are straight out of the zip-lock bag they came in. As you can see, there's a bit of cleanup needed. There's no severe bubble holes etc on these, but bear in mind these were the result of the nightmare order, so I'm sure they checked them for quality before sending them out. There's a weird thing I've just noticed going on with the shoulder mounts and the arm-shoulder sections - they're both concave, so I guess the glue surface would only be on the edges of the circles.

My opinions: The torsos are quite nice. I probably wouldn't bother with the arms. I just wish they'd learn to cast cleanly like Maxmini, Kromlech or Anvil.

Thanks for sharing! Well at least we know that they can cast well when they really want to.

@Azazel, apparently the gaps in the arm -> shoulder join is to accommodate wee magnets. quite why anyone would need magnetized arms on basic troopers is beyond me though...

@SickSix - yep, though to be honest, I'm still a bit disappointed at the amount of flash. At least it's easily cleaned off.

@japehlio - I believe you must be correct. That had simply not occurred to me. I guess it means you could theoretically swap out special/heavy weapon troopers or between close combat troops and riflemen?

I can see that they do look a tad rough on the edges and corners, but they do actually look decent. Thanks for sharing. Maybe once this current slew of Kickstarters has ended, I might actually bite the bullet and get a set.

The lack of weapons does seem odd - unless those knob thingies behind the rider are for some sort of weapon mounts, along the lines of ork warbikers?

As jetbikes go, I think it's a pretty nice design.

if you look at the product page, the pic showing the exploded view of the model shows that there are magnet ports next to those posts, so yes, they're the weapon mounts.

So, a bit different than the first drawing. The head piece is optional according to comment they made on Facebook. So I assume underneath is a place to insert more normal type infantry helmets.
