Still no shipping number for AU. Mark, is there any chance of seeing if Asia-Pacific orders are shipping from HK yet?

Well, I guess mine is on it's way. I don't think the USPS website can track parcels leaving for another country more than just the primary sort facility. Which it was logged at today.

Badger beat DFG in delivering goodies. Probably for the best, the extra control I have with the Krome over the cheap chinese one I was practicing with is insane. Minitaire paints are beautiful too, will definitely be using them for my Eisenkern.

In other words, patiently waiting for that Aussie tracking info ; )

I'm surprised people haven't upped some pics of their assembled mini's. Some WIPs of the leviathans, stormtroopers... anything! Come on slackers!

My order arrived today! Ada looks awesome and wow! The Crusader's box is impressive! Great size and awesome heft. Everything you want in a model of those proportions.

15 pounds of plastic goodness due to arrive on the 13th.

And as for me, I'm so going to paint my Leviathan first, so what colours to paint the troops is very much secondary to me. By the time I've finished the Leviathan there are bound to be some interesting schemes up on Dakka for me to be inspired by. I already have a couple of ideas for the Leviathan, some of which depend on the exact scale (Which I will only be able to fully visualise once I have an assembled trooper and the Leviathan next to me as it will depend on things like scale size of bricks).

However, some of the ww2 and later German camouflage schemes are also interesting. Might be worth looking on some of the Luftwaffa '46 sites for the types of paint schemes that might have been adorning German experimantal aircraft had they not been cancelled by the end of the war.

Either that or some form of Dazzle camouflage as used on the German warships might be appropriate.

Unfortunately my Google-fu must be weak, as I currently have not been able to find a site giving the backgrounds for these wonderful models, can anyone give me a shove, please? That at least would probably help me in deciding on a scheme that would not be too way out for Iron Core.

Oh, and as to SickSix talking about using GW models in Iron Core, well. OK, I can see the point if you've got a hoard of those guys. Luckily I don't as I bought models I'd like to paint rather than collecting an army (And therefore haven't bought much in years), but it seems to me that you'd be missing a golden opportunity to use the models designed for the system, and much better models than GW's to boot!

Very excited. Tracking shows it made it through Boston this morning and is at my post office. Should have my stormtroopers and support weapons today.

still no shipping info for me in NY either, waiting impatiently! lol

don't know why though, still dragging my feet in ordering glue and such.

Any word on how on schedule the second wave is? I'm really hoping it's still on schedule for March/Early April as I've got plans for the alternate arms.

That is actually a good question, I would be interested to know if it and the third wave are still going to be on time. Not that it really matters as I will have more than enough stuff to keep me busy until next year without all the third wave stuff!

Package received and immediately delved into last night. Ada's codpiece was a bit of a hassle with my clumsy fingers and can't seem to get the dog handlers arms to match as the joins appear backwards. I'll have to go back and see a completed model to see what I'm doing wrong.

My gawd! The packaging for my Levi was top notch! Quality work all around but I'm afraid it's going to take me a month to put the thing together. :-)

And...it's arrived (along with a 3E Space Hulk I bought off ebay, happy days are here).

First impression is I'm absolutely blown away. I'm just looking at the Shadokesh Handler and I can't see any flash, even on the whip. These are some wicked tight molds.

Support weapons and accessory pack had the insert. Looks like the squad insert didn't make its way into the shipment. 1 head, 2 arms, 2 legs attach to a torso, plus a weapon...check.

I'm going to have a bit of analyses paralysis trying to figure out the best way to put together my units. There's just so much.

The lack of flash is amazing. Very little cleaning up to be done.

For the squads, its not as simple as 2 arms and a weapon, they are all number coded to fit right. Mark has a picture up (back a few pages) that shows what works with what.

**Though to be fair, I get almost zero wife aggro over the plastic crack habit. It helps that lately I've been ebay-ing the stuff that I'm not using, and instead of rolling the cash back into more stuff I will use, I've been putting it in to the normal bank account for rent and food and so forth.

Woo, Delivery confirmation and my kiddo brought the box inside for me.

Hah, I know how you feel. I find myself saying out loud: "Dont act like you dont have my package, son!" I get especially impatient when its something I need like new tires or a new drive chain. The driver ends up doing 2 or 3 laps around the block trying to find my house. This package is special though, first "new" model purchase in a few years. New plastic smell? Yes please.
