What I could really do with is the 15mm cooler from the kickstarter and another me to go with the second 15mm Levi I ordered from wayland games (whose despatch speed sucks balls btw). I'm trying to give them money damn it! Won't be buying my third Levi til the coolers are available though.

Maybe next time, skip Wayland and buy from another retailer like Battlefield Berlin? Wayland is horrible at getting things out the door in a timely fashion.

I normally use element or firestorm as they are very good but didn't have the 15mm version listed at time of order. I try not to order out of UK if possible.

I'm sure not all UK retailers have such a slow response time.

North Star Games have the 15mm for £28 plus postage. Always had good service from them as well.

Seeing that Contemptors are larger then a dread, i don't see where the problem is.

And i allready used a Riptide to make a defiler, plus the Crusader works perfectly for a Contemptor.

Mathieu, that's absolutely awesome! Love the second "pose" shot . The arms are that sturdy without being glued that they can be posed around like that, eh? If so, man, that is fantastic.

That's never stopped me . I'm actually excited for the 15mm ones because they're smaller than what I was using for dreads, which admittedly was much too large for TLOS purposes. It's mostly a disadvantage, which makes most folks cool with it, but it helps for it to be closer than what I was using. I do plan to use the 15mm ones as dreads, though

Glorious Mathieu, up there with the best I've seen, the yellow and weathering works really well. You should be fkn proud of that effort, I'm envious. I like the raised chainsaw pose too, if you're still looking at locking it down.

Edit: Looks like RiTides and I agree on the pose ; ) It really is hot.

Please add my voice of admiration on that work, Mathieu. That is a truly amazing piece of work,, it really does push up the bar on what I will have to attempt on mine.

The only criticism I could level is that the metals are all exactly the same. I would have used some brighter metals for the 'working' areas of the hydraulic pistons (And a few other areas), and some duller metals for some of the other metallic areas to add a bit more interest to the metal areas.

I will, like you, be adding some damage and a slight corrosion affect to selected areas - although I will probably be keeping it more restricted than you have.

Thanks for helping me find my mojo again and get enthusiastic about getting on with this project again.

Just noticed the crushed Sentinel there, Mathieu. Think that's a nice touch which has been done with some subtlety. Once again you impress me.

Thanks guys. I still need to tweak a few things, Azazelx has also recommended some weathering of the capacitor coolers. But right now I am waiting on a set of bits to try my hand at inquisition troops with Statuesque heads. If only Hoard o'Bits can hurry up...

I think the 15mm arms are in fact 3rd wave.

And yeah, good question about the 15mm sword, capacitor cooler and...arm armor?

I have no idea though, and I haven't seen anything official from DFG about making sure they know that you need these things...

As of November 12th, WGF is apparently still working out the details of asking if individual backers want those things now or can wait until Wave 3 ships according to the last KS update and comments.

Apparently Mark will be updating everyone when that's good to go with what they need to do, but it sounds as though the ball is in WGF's court.

Good to know, thanks. Also just picked up a mini leviathan and a Mortis at miniaturemarket.com in the last hour. Thinking about skipping class tonight to stay home and build them.

Don't Theo. Leviathans will wait for you, but not the sweet, sweet nectar of knowledge.

So when are the alternative weapon arms for the 28mm leviathans going on sale? Anyone have any suggestions on which vendor in the US I should deal with?

Thewarstore.com (nil has always done right by me and he will match miniature markets price on these.
Or
Miniaturemarket.com best discount I've seen on dreamforge, free shipping over 99.00

Did a rough test model for an Eisenkern Dreadball team. (please forgive the blu-tac ; p) The pose is more throwing a ball with hand atm, I still need to GS a Dreadball ball holder thing onto his wrist.

It's rough, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. The stormtrooper accessory kit adds so many possibilities, will easily be able to get a dozen unique models I think.

edit: Just realised I should have the forward pointing hand palm down I think.
