Thanks buddy, I was a little scarred I'd gone too far at first as this is the first army I'd really done any OSL type effects on , but now I'm quite liking it !
Thanks for taking the time to comment !

Ok , ladies and gentlemen , I have been waylaid with the camo marines lately.

But now and for the first time on the tinternet I introduce you to the works of Little H, age 10. Mostly his own work , tho I helped with the sword on the Champion, the rest is his. Logan Grimnar he did one morning whilst I had a lay in !

And the desert board we're intending to game on, I did !

Comments or criticisms please

Well done sir! Look properly military, really like marines with a military look. Am not so much into the tinsel marines or ones in bright gaudy colours.

I have to admit I have never bought second hand models and this would give me courage to give it a go. Always afraid I would waste time, which when it comes to our hobby can be as precious as g

Second hand stuff can be a real pain , at a minimum you'll be removing moldlines and stuff, sometimes they'll be assembled REALLY badly , tho then its lends themselves to green stuff and dremelling for Chaos use !

Sometimes tho you can drop lucky and everything works out , it really depends on how much actual spare time you have to correct things !

Thanks very much mate !

However , despite my best efforts (so I wasn't painting 24/7 and not getting anywhere...) , my lads interest has wandered off to WHFB and Dwarves.
It just not fair , they'll look rubbish is Tamiya Desert Yellow.

On the Signals Officer ? Yeah , I thought the pack mounting would look a bit like some kind of comms interface or something , the "ball" for mounting the pack is shaved of and a skull fitted , tho its hard to see.
It also give a armour neck plate but i had to remove it to get the comms head to fit .......

Funny thing , when Rogue Trader came out i Didn't like the beaky heads much , but I think they look sweet on jump pack guys now !

Ladies and Gentlemen , I give you a fairly averagely built and painted LandRaider , its taken 12 months or so from buying it all Blue and Ultramarine-y to getting it finished , I still keep finding mold lines and bits I should have filled , I really began to hate this tank and was really quite pleased to get it done .

On the down side my son said on its triumphant presentation " Don't know why you bothered , I like Dwarves now"

Bugger.
