Hard to follow that magnificent collection, but here's my Joan. Stunning mini to paint, a great sculpt even by CB standards.

I'll say it again, nice work Para.

Awesome collection Andrew, I hope to mirror it with Nomads eventually.

I approve of the clear acrylic bases

Again, nice stuff

I really like the white portion of your PanO, and the black scheme for the Nomads.

So yesterday I painted my first Infinity model. It's nothing special, especially compared to some here, but it's probably the 5th or so model I've ever painted and my first attempt at 2 brush blending so I'm fairly happy. I don't like painting guns so it's just grey, I might detail it later. And looking at it more it might need a further highlight on the red... But it took me about 7 hours to get it to that stage. But anyway, here goes...:

Looks good! Some red ink on the armor and some light black (grey) ink on the metallics might help to bring out some more detail and give it more sense of depth.

Would I just do that like a wash?

Pretty much. I'd go for a darker red ink, maybe even a brown for the red. Red ink on red just blends into itself.

Infinity models love inks and washes. So much detail to seep into.

That's purdy, Imageek!

Love the reds, and the metallics are well done on the scaled areas.

Nugz, those are awesome!

Thank you! The metallics were easy mode; base, wash and drybrush haha.

I've been painting something guys. Kum girl conversion (well, rider swap).

Here she is with her biker bros.

Only 4 more bikers to go! I think I'll have a break and finish up my Sekban and HMG Jannisary.

It's how the suit is designed - the inside of the legs are a different part of the suit. So I naturally followed angels scheme and coloured it in a skin-like tan because dat ass.

Haha Loki.. I like that you are continuing the fine Kum rider tradition That's a great conversion though, not sure if I would have been brave enough to try that!

ImAGeek - Nice job mate, that's a great first miniature. Looks like you are neat with a steady hand, that and patience I think are something every miniature painter needs.

It's not a hard conversion at all - it barely qualifies as one. She's in that exact position as standard, so positioned right she looks like she's getting on or off a bike.

The miniature though... beautiful sculpt, but I won't paint another one. The ribbing on the inside layers of the suit is ridiculously small and very hard to highlight.

Ah OK, fair enough! It does look good though.

Out of interest what happened to your previous classic 'jean-stealer' profile pic? This new one gives the feeling that all of your comments are being made with a kind of dis-interested sneer.

(of course, mine probably seem like they are being made by a fearful idiot!!)

Had a go at using the Giraldez book for something other than procrastination today and tried following some of the techniques. Pretty happy, only ever really used the airbrush for primer and base coating up to now.

Long way to go with these guys obviously (not least a shade and some hard edge highlighting) but a decent looking start, I think.

Sekban Spitfire done.

As motivation, I got my painted stuff out for a look. That's 23 Infantry and 3 bikes done.

My backlog is scary, however. About another 35 models including 2 TAGs, 4 more bikers, remotes and some rather bulky new heavy infantry.

That airbrush work looks nice, I can't wait to see what you come up with in the end, alanmckenzie.

Sekban looks good Loki!

Kickass amount of finished products

Here's my own humble offering, got a few reinforcements for my Nomads finished.
