It doesn't even make sense that things could get out of control, once the floor filled with slimes you should have realized I had disconnected power to the grinders and gone to turn them off

I'm setting up an MFFS

Hey can someone help me set up an ME system. It seems I will be needing it to organize all my items, I plan on building a big generator, but I need to have steel and steam tanks.

I mainly need to have renewable energy, to power all of my machines and build a chunk killer machine so that I can have a constant influx of materials.

You people and your crazy techno gizmos.

once it comes back up I have ftb setup on my 128gb ram box to try and brave the slime factory to shut it down.

If the dimension is unloaded and nobody is nearby, is it even a problem?

I thought mobs were immediately despawned by MC if nobody is nearby.

in my defence;

I was using your mob spawner, you saw me yesterday and didn't say I wasnt allowed

I was not modifying your setups

I didn't break them and again didn't change them just turned a redstone lever that you saw me do yesterday and you had said nothing

when I tried to turn it off I died and then lag took over (my wording of "tried to fix it" was bad, what I meant was I tried to turn it off)

but I guess thank you dark, and my pals on the server. please hand my stuff on to anvil or any members of the trarii and return the stuff in the resource chest to grundz (youll know its the right chest when you see a few stacks of diamonds)

As I predicted, all the slimes had been despawned. However, the slime soul shard is also missing. Grundz if it doesn't turn up in your system somewhere, let me know and I'll return it.

Public energy grid has started going up but im a little lost as to where to run it to, first tower is in spawn and running over to mondo's place

shouldn't have any issues as long as people dont hook up extremely high load things for a long time, remember its 512eu/t so you should run it from the output side of the nearest MFE, then to your base, then step it down with mv and LV transformers

yeay i can plug in my hair dryer now.

Grundz should do some free cable because i could use some of that, i don't get to watch my tv shows at all.

Whoever clogged the spawn smeltery, your gold, aluminium, and obsidian are in the iron chest next to it in ingot form.

Please research alloy combinations beforehand, and make sure you've got the correct patterns and casts you need before putting resources into the smeltery. There's no excuse for not doing so seeing as how Tinkers' Construct adds a guide book to your starting inventory, and you can access the next book up simply by placing the current version in a crafting grid.

If you're in any doubt whatsoever, then at least make sure there's an ingot cast within reach so that you can easily extract materials from the smeltery without harming the ability to re-smelt them.

Someone's been using WAAAAAY too much uncontrolled magic, I just got attacked by two freaking corrupted wisps while trying to harvest from my farms. I survived, but still, this is getting ridiculous. Who the hell is using that much uncontrolled thaumcraft?

Durr, think i solved it

Public electricty grid is spreading to about 300 blocks around spawn

Each pole is equiped with a light that will light up if energy supply is dried up

there's a chest full of transformers and cable at the substation near spawn for you guys, remember to attach to the output (dot) side of the nearest poll so minimize electricity loss (and also give your base its own personal MFSU)

Please dont connect anything nuts to it, basically just dont attach laser drills or massive electric motor arrays or something to it, the grid is currently supplying 512eu/t X2 plus each MFSU downstream of you, plus some misc stuff, if someone wants to draw more than the poll is putting out let me know and i can build bigger supstations

if someone wants to setup automated construction foam i can do this a lot faster

Two wisps is not a lot. A regular node can generate two wisps if even just a tiny bit of magic is used. A corrupt node nearby would generate a lot more wisps regardless of whether magic is used or not. I have a corrupt node near my place and it's a great source of wispy essence, but I had to box it in to stop it becoming a nuisance first.

If there is one of those Thaumcraft obsidian platforms nearby, they have wisp spawner cages beneath them that spawn wisps regardless of flux level. But they can be easily broken.

Someone with a Thaumometer and Thaumcraft Goggles can find any nodes nearby and see if they are a problem or not.

I am actually living closer then the little hut you posted the link to, though I live in the snow Biome and have no intentions of going any further then the boundaries of the biome in your direction.
Just for clarification the hut is nothing to do with me though

Oh, that hut is mine. It's little more than some protection for a single apiary I have for breeding up some drones that needed to be in an Arid biome. I'd hoped it wasn't in anyone's way, but if it is, I can move it very quickly, as there's not much there.

I haven't even noticed.

If you want any special trees or need wool/leather/food, feel free to harvest from my farms, just leave at least 2 animals in each pen and a sapling in each grove.
