Those BMG buildings actually look pretty good. There's something appealing about their simplified construction. Who sells them? I don't recall ever seeing them before.

Barzam, they came in the knight models batman GSM suicide squad starter box. As yet, I don't believe they are for sale on their own. I suspect that will change eventually as the game seems to like terrain and they already did the process to be able to make them so why not? I wouldn't mind a couple more to spice in on my table.

Hey guys, been a bit busy so not so much hobby. Well. Some hobby, but the not-miniatures part of D&D, planning adventures and even playing a couple of times.
Then the last couple of days I've been doing my tests to get my license to kill renewed. Sure it's just bugs and plants, but it's something
Working on my battle system city, bit by bit.
Also... How did you guys let this happen? Why did no one stop me?
I'm actually kind of embarrassed here...

Fortunately many of them were obtained at half price, or purchased with bonus points on Amazon or the like. So there's that. I look forward to doing all of them...Whenever I can get around to it.

Soo yeah here again. Made a wee round dice tower because most all of them are square. Stiff cardboard tube I got from Theo, box from my airbrush, printed paper, felt, stick glue and hot glue.
Also included is a MtG:innistraad box I got for like 8 bucks. The minis are a solid hard-ish plastic, five are prepaints. All are roughly the right size 28mm that is and there are some interesting sculpts.

Those marines are very nice-- crisp and clean, like marines should be. I didn't know you collected marines, although now that I think about it, everyone has at least a few, don't we.

I started miniatures with marines actually. The very first minis I can remember are some skeletons and a marine or two from a learn to paint kit. Followed somewhat closely by the 3rd edition starter with the ruins, 20 deldar, 10 marines, and land speeder. What a bad matchup
I tried to focus on the dark eldar, and then tyranids, sold most of the marines...got out of the hobby casually for awhile...then bought thousands of points of marines on eBay. Buying them was practically a hobby in itself. And then I settled on a scheme *finally*, and got maybe 20-30 dudes painted with one or two vehicles and just kinda stopped. I've since sold a decent chunk of what I had, torn up some of it for scenery and conversions, and the rest still sits in the boxes set aside for it. Along with nearly 2000 points of (likely now mangled) tyranids, maybe a half dozen raiders and a bunch of bad condition dark eldar plastics and metals.
And of course all of the WHFB stuff and the minis I've bought since the blog.
Anyhoo.
I was trying to see if the forums would update my location flag as we're actually in Canada for a bit, just a fun trip. There are some neat gamestores within easy walking distance of us but nothing there I needed to buy. May do some pictures at some point. Tomorrow we may well be going to a castle!

Love the pet Mimic. I think that the location flags are based on info filled in when signing up rather than the IP address of the computer. But this is all speculation and I would be happy to be told I am wrong.

Chompy is my 'DM Chest', all of the stuff I need to run a game of D&D fits into it (barely, in some cases). Also can serve as a partial screen to hide my notebooks in/behind, though I've switched to rolling 90% of dice out front, if someone gets crit to death so be it lol.

Holy crap guys. I just narrowly avoided buying the tohaa starter pack on miniature market. 60 bucks today. For 18 infinity minis
.. Just over $3 a pop is insanity. I got the same feeling I get going through the grocery store passing soda on sale, literal addiction cravings.
Do they have Miniatures anonymous? I had to talk myself out of it hard lol, I think digging out my infinity shame drawers helped.
It's still cooking in the back of my mind, those little symbiobeasts are adorable. They have it for $70 on game nerdz all the time so that also helped talk me down.
Lot of battle systems and TNT stuff to show off just need to sort the photos.

Yeah I'm zerored out too, that little trip we took set me back more than I intended and all I did was get some tickets, bus faire, and food lol.
Birthday is imminent, I'm sure I could flex the funds but they'd just go into the pile lol. And I'd be better off replacing my work clothes for the upcoming season, landscaping is murder on clothes.
If it's still there by the by the end of the day though...

I knew I should have recognized those Raiders, but I just couldn't place them. Your Peacekeepers look like they ought to be a pretty good force. Won't that warband run a bit on the expensive side though? I like your conversion on that Sekban, too.

In money or points? I already own what I'll need so that's covered. And if you mean in points, I can fit all 9 of those into the starter size list, as opposed to six raiders, 8 caravaners, 9 tribals, or 5 preservers/big mutants. Most of them only have minimal armor, mesh or riot. No loading down on combat armor. The boss may have power armor, but his weapons are very basic. Plus the dogs, WGF survivors, and convict are all right around 18-21 points. Automatically Appended Next Post: It was a pain to get the shield to sit right, but I really like him too. Especially how he fits with the dogs.

Hey folks. Still alive. Been a couple of months sheesh. Just haven't really been getting much done. Played a few Pulp Alley games chipping away at our campaign. I've been tinkering a bit with D&D stuff, playing older video games, and mostly hanging out with the kids. My oldest finally talked me into getting her some Pokemon cards and I didn't realize how much I still like popping open boosters in hopes of something cool. Gotta keep it about the kiddo though We've played a bit, she seems to like it but really *getting it* will take some time. Anyway along with being worn out after working in the sun all day, these things have slowed my production down.
Plus it's really hard to get any quality keyboard time... my toddler is not conducive to such activity I've been leaning on my facebook groups more since they're a lot easier to get to from the phone, well pictures wise. I was getting tired of just slapping uploads onto the end of a post, will try to get around to dumping them in the gallery first so I can at least post reasonable posts.
Ahem, Have done a bit though.
Buck and company fighting off mummy/zombies in the perilous oasis in the egyptian desert (I think?, I'm kinda lost as to where we're actually setting our perilous island campaign!). I've got three of four lost pages required to push the campaign to it's climax but it's still anyone's game.
I've been reading the Horus Heresy books from the recent humble bundle and it has me looking over my old marines. Well actually it has me looking up betrayal at calth box sets... but I'm not willing to buy one unless I have a piece-for-piece match of painted marines already. So probably never, but who knows Not sure why I kept such a bad photo though!
Current and possibly favorite pick for my eventual campaign warband for TNT. Preservers mostly from various deadzone/warpath minis. The hazmat suit excavators are obviously deadzone zombies with some modifications, then the rebs commander, the recon enforcer, and a robot from the dbx team. The team has (and will expand to have more) a lot of aerosol guns which are basically flame throwers but since they're gas attacks, the power armor and hazmat suits make them much less likely to hurt my own guys...so basically swarm the enemy with grunts and spray poison on the lot of them while the boss and her XO shoot anything that survives to pieces muahahahaah.
A little communications bunker/whatever for TNT or scifi games. Added bonus of a matching yet separate little piece with a couple of dead soldiers, just to make things look more dangerous or sinister
Anyway. Not much to much, just wanted to pop in and express my existence and apologize for being away. I'll try to pop by everyone's pages as I get the chance in the next few days.

This may be the most brilliant kitbash I've seen this year. I have no desire to paint 80 more DZ zombies, but I could definitely see doing some of these.
