I had to look about a half dozen times to be sure that was an ACTUAL KS page, and not just some spoof.
I get what the guy's doing here, but... as of right now, 131 people have given him money, and he's hit his goal?
WTF?
Two people have given him $500?

Holy crap, people will just throw their money at anything.

What do you mean? The rules look great! Especially the task resolution system on page 4 of the downloadable rules. Can't you see the ROOS?

I have to admit that I didn't get it and submitted a question as to why the rulebook was blank. Duh.

I don't think I'll invest. It seems the ROOS blocks me. I have a colour blind friend, I'm sure he'd enjoy this, though.

Clever, but mean spirited enough that it's a pass for me. Sedition Wars' rules weren't as well developed as I wanted, but I'm still enjoying it a lot. I expect about the same range from other projects.

These are people trying to make something, and I'd rather have more options and more creative people involved than have my options limited to 3-4 major game companies.

Like the cover art, though it may be controversial with certain groups due to its, shall we say, risque nature.

I really dont get this kickstarter. I mean, on one hand, it wants to say "Derp, look at these brainless idiots who are pledging to produce games they havent even played yet". Yet in the exact same project he notes all the games he himself has pledged for, and enjoyed, which kind of undermines the main point . You cant have it both ways man. This just strikes me as bandwagoning hating on KS for its own sake.

Are there going to be some KS produced duds? Certainly. But at the same time I'll take that over having to get everything greenlit by a corporate accounting stooge who might veto something great simply because it wouldnt make enough profit.. MInd you, not NO profit, just not ENOUGH profit, which is a big hurdle for many games going through traditional funding.

I don't get why people are funding it, unless they're thinking what I'm thinking and have noticed the end date for the KS and are just doing it for giggles.

Of course, it'll be even funnier (for certain definitions of the word funnier) if they're wrong and the guy actually produces the 'game'.

Well, on one one hand, its a well done piece of performance art. The guy obviously put a lot of effort, time and thought into it. Its creative, and funny enough when you dont think too hard about it.

On the other, it has the equivalent message of "Performance artists, and those that support them... what a bunch of tools! Hey, can anyone support my performance art?"

It's just more typical smug postmodernist hipster frankly. "Oho, look how witty and clever I am, proposing the obviously ridiculous with the pretense of irony in the full knowledge you will recognise it as ridiculous. I R BECUM ARTIST!"

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
