Subject: What is the best way to paint large armies quickly

Ok so i just purchased a pretty large tyranid army, all NIB and im looking to get them painted to a solid table top standard ASAP.
I have the following
1 Hive Tyrant with wings
1 Swarm Lord
2 Terivgons
1 Doom of Malantai (troll forged model)
3 Zoanthropes
3 Hive Guards
60 Termagaunts
20 Gargoyles
6 Raveners
3 Carnifex
2 Trygon
so just a little over 100 models that i would like to have done in about a month or two at the most painting about 2 hours a day on week days and maybe 4 hours on weekends. Im wondering if i should prime them all on sprue then assemble them and just go over with a couple layers a wash a drybrush and then call it a day? Before i had a chaos army with lots of big models, so my army size was fairly small and i could afford to spend more time on less models. If anyone has a good guide to painting mass amounts of models quickly i would love some help thanks!

Prep all the models and assemble them, prime them, drybrush and wash them. They will have colour on them at that point and if you want you can go back and add detail at a later date.

Can do it before or after, for me it depends on what Im painting.
For example on my krieg I wanted a more realistic look and drybrushed after a wash but on other models I have, I drybrushed then washed, which I also follow up with a coat of varnish to get rid of watermarking from the wash.
So pretty much personal preference I think.

Put on some music and get in the zone yo! I find the best way is to divide it into small parts such as 5 gaunts and 5 gargoyles then set yourself when you want them done by. This way you don't have 100+ models sitting there and it looks like you're getting no where. Plus you'll have some variety when you're painting. I find these are the best 2 methods to keep going and get stuff done when painting hoard armies

Prime black, then a zenithal spray of a mid tone blue or purple from above, paint the bones and armour a medium or dark grey. Then dip the models in army painter quickshade dark tone. Then a quick spray of matt varnish. Then do eyes and teeth and such. Quick as, and having just tried quickshade myself for the first time, I have to say it's excellent.

What color do you want? I paint mine in a Kraken scheme and start off with an Almond primer, paint the carapaces Mechrite Red (or whatever the equivalent is now), black on the talons, then wash the entire model with a brown. Give it a simple base and it's tabletop ready..

Army Painter colored primer, dry brush a lighter color, pick out other colors like eyes and such, then dip and base.

One more vote for dipping. If you're just looking for tabletop quality, nothing looks better (at least for suitable armies, like Tyranids) for less time/effort. Spray in your main color, paint a few details (2-3 other colors), dip, dust with matte varnish, base, and you're good to go. The Army Painter website should have plenty of examples/tutorials to that effect. You aren't restricted, by any means, to using their products, exclusively, but they've built their whole business around the concept of "quick but not crappy" painting, so they're a good place to start.

Yep, nids are a prime candidate for dipping. Also, you can save a bit of $ by using Minwax polyshades instead of Army Painter Quickshades.
Check the tutorial in my sig for the MInwax to Army Painter equivalents.
Whatever product you choose, check the Galleries at the AP website to see a ton of different possibilities for Quick painting Tyranid schemes.
