lol, we just previewed these at the Charring Cross Gaming Club.

The gamers there, Hawk Wargames and us can assure you is hard plastic. It's just very well done and it's really fine detail work on the boards.

We will upload pics later today from the gaming Club.

We will also be showcasing these at the Hero & Legends Gaming Store this Saturday, East Croydon London.

They will be there Gen Con 2013 as well. We have some audio commentary from the public who played on them and we will accumulate more this Saturday and release audio commentary next week.

We are blown away thus far with the feedback . Thank you

I too am intrigued. I see a Facebook page and references to a Kickstarter that may be looming, but nowhere currently to actually buy a board? Looking to round out our Robotech terrain before it ends up on our doorsteps (sometime before the sun goes nova, of course).

Kickstarter news on this to come soon

:(, if we could we would. But the good news is they are not far off. The immense work in detail and getting the Games & Gears Battle Boards right has taken some time. But it has been worth it

28mm models and terrian in action. Painted by Simon Edwards long time gamer and overall awesome chap.

6mm Models here it is!!! remember you can repaint the lanes for more or less lanes or keep it as it is!

Do the lanes come with basic lane structure? Or will I have to paint them no matter what?

Also these show that while they're usable for 28mm games, they just look weird because of the width of the streets...

Yes lanes come as is. But we may do a sets without lanes, however you can just repaint it. These are base painted. Once you get to play a couple of times you'll get use to it. We are taking the battle boards around for the public to get a feel and see. Just had a mega 40k battle and it was sweet. Inifinity is a treat too.

Yeah, but if you look at a normal city street, how many people can you fit across the crosswalk? 10? 20? The image with the necrons looks like you can fit maybe 5. And the board itself just looks cramped because of it. Is it usable? Yeah, I said it was, it just looks weird.

It's far more suited for 6mm games...

without lanes it would help tremendously for larger scale wargames.

We can do sets without lanes easy . Less work for us too. Will most likely be an option. But seriously 40k mega battles are sweeet on our battle boards. Next in line is a large scale infinity game with a ton of terrain ;D, and wait to you see the Hellscape battle board.

Hell is coming... ;P

Infinity is our newest collection/game. Unfortunately we have not much painted. So we will try and ask friends to use their painted armies so you can have a look at how infinity plays on this Games & Gears Battle Board.

Hell is here. This is more of one of the Games & Gears Hellscape Battleboard 2 by 2 boards revealed. Hell is filled with layers of deceit, cruelty and trickery. What may look in the center as broken rough earth in the middle is actually a sea of skulls....this is just part of one 2 by 2 Games & Gears Hellscape battle board. More to be revealed soon. We will reveal the actual Hellscape Battle Board soon. Design concept teasers first ;P.

...This specifically to cater to those who regard the RoBb as having insufficient skulls?

What is the depth of the detail on the Hellscape board. From the pictures you have shown so far (the cracked earth, packing stones, and drop zone cityscape), the detail looks to be 1-2mm deep at best. Is the Hellscape board very different to the others?

lol. Ninja Division the design this battle board. I am sure at some point they will jump in and explain . This is only part of a 2by2 . Wait till you see Hell in it's full hellish glory. We hope gamers from many settings pic this one up also.

What we can say is that the look feel and detail will be there, and being heavily resistant on models tipping over and cocked dice. When the public game on it in a few weeks and we shoot clean and crisp pics of the actual Games & Gears battle board you will see it fully in detail as at this point we don't won't to go into techniques or depth specifications just yet or our manufacturing process. We rather launch our detailed textured battle boards first! Hope you can understand. But you will see it very soon!

I take it you mean for sale, as opposed to free to copy whichever way we please?
Public domain is a rather specific term

Ninja Division is made up of Sodapop, Palladium, and the important one for this, Cipher Studios. Cipher Studios currently holds the rights and licenses to Helldorado. I'm assuming that this is Hellscape board is for that game, much like your streets were for Dropzone Commander/Robotech...
