OKAY. Next batch of games is BOOKED...

Sunday 28th (this Sunday) at the Overlords in Barking - the club runs from 2pm to 7pm, so shall we meet at 2pm and game as long as we fancy?

I'm all set for Sunday too. Has anyone heard from Fiddy?

What do you think we will need terrain wise? We all seem to have plenty of Necromunda card stuff, do the Overlords have matts/textured tables and/or small scatter terrain? I'd be happy to pop to a textile shop and pick up some 4'+ squares of grey material if needed?

I have started making some random pieces of 2" x 1" scatter terrain, just in case they don't have anything. It's only Hirst's blocks on card but should add some cover to the tables if we have nothing else.

The Overlords have a fair bit of terrain, including buildings, some industrial stuff, etc, so I think we should be good on that front.

I've messaged Fifty, but no response. There was quite a lot of interest on the Overlords Facebook group, though, so I've suggested that other people might want to get involved...

++ The Cult of Dirt ++
++Game Report++

The cult of dirt hear gun fire, they creep close to see members of the serpents embrace and the Heroines getting personnel.

Lumbergh signals his men to get into position to ambush the losers!
They are crawling through tunnels and vents to get close, But full back-up arrives for the Serpents Embrace.

Lumbergh's fire teams get into position as the first shots are fired by the Serpents, dropping samir with a nasty chest wound.

And Bob Porter gets bathed in flames!
Samir coughs up blood and goes out of action, Gibbons is outraged, he strides into the open blasting at the heavy stubber serpent knocking him to the ground.
Lumbergh drops the flamer carrying serpent, and Bob Slydel puts a bullet in his head to be sure!

Portwood and Boltons Gun nest comes under heavy Fire and they both go out of action!
Bobs charred corpse rolls over..
With four guys down Lumbergh's has had enough and calls a retreat!
Worst Ambush ever!

Bob dies from his burns and Samirs chest injury reduces his toughness...

To restore gang moral Lumbergh hires a new juve.
'Yeeaah if you could go ahead and tell them your name is Bob, that's be great!'

Gang updated..

Bit of bad luck there, but a very nice little report. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a good day for the newcomers. In another fight, The Heroins, the latest Escher gang in town, soundly beat The Wasteladies, killing Mischa and capturing Chelsea!

The Wastladies had to buy a Power Axe from the trading post and hand it over to get her back! The as-yet untested Brooklyn took the place of Mischa.

The Heroins will be added to the blog any minute. They're a small gang with a lot of cool weapons...

But it would be nothing....nothing.... without a woman trying to pistol-whip you and take your creds.

Great session at the Overlords chaps, thanks for organising it. And thanks to the Overlords for the tables and supersub/new campaigner Tom for bringing the Heroin(s). Ork Town = SMOG TOWN in my head now.

I'm pleased we could finally get some games in and it was a great team effort on the rules. Should be nice and smooth for the next session.

I started a Battle Report thread here as my post started to get a bit wordy and didn't want to clog up this thread.

I had a great time and I have now modelled my new ganger with power axe. It's a shame I can't upload my pictures on the roster sheet

Yeah, it's a reallly specific image type/size that works - I'll try and figure out how i did it again. I was using Photoshop, and the 'Save for Web' command, which allows you to downsize it to a specific file size...

They are small enough. It says it needs to be a jpeg but it is! I am a little confused

Yeah,
I had that problem but ArbitorIan photoshopped them into Internet jpgs!

No idea...

RIGHT. For the small images, I'm doing the following (using Photoshop)

- Downsizing to around 200px wide
- Using 'Save to Web' to check my file size (my images are around 10K)
- Switching 'Embed Colour Profile' OFF (this is really important)
- Exporting with the extension .jpg (not .jpeg)

And it works! I think the Embed Colour Profile thing is the most important - it work read JPEGs with additional info embedded...

Officially bored of trying to add the pictures. I have tried different file types and have managed to add the top picture but even though it says the small image has uploaded all I get is a little cross.

So when do we all fancy the next round of games?

As I said Sunday I am free on the 10th and 11th August if anyone else is?

The Serpents Embrace need more opportunities to increase our meagre holdings!

And I've also printed off a copy of the LRB to ensure (hopefully ) quick and easy rules clarifications.

That looks like a very 'ransom' axe.

Just a little in game pun there.

Good work Tom, she'll look great painted up with the other girls.
