Bit later than stated, but here's the pics....all as unpackaged, no clean up.

Cruz and Driscilla, unfortunately quite an egregious mould line on Cruz:

Bernadette and Blondie - slight warp to Blondie's gun as seen already, and some miscasting on one of her power lines, just a bit of flash on Bernadette.

Hilda and Natasha - Lot of flash on Natasha, all else looks good.

Lulu and the mascots - faint mould line down the front of Jinx, no warping to the Lulu's "dart-gun" though.

Mortaria - some warping on the gun, and a hefty mould line on one leg:

And a couple of the all-important scale shots...

Dark Age, Judge Dredd and a GW Cadian

Maxmini, Malifaux and a GW termie.

The warped guns I half expected in resin, but not happy with the mould line on Cruz.

Otherwise, looking pretty decent!

Definitely happy I made the decision to go with metal for everything. Hopefully the troops will have better castings.

Ouch is that quality bad! Even GW's failcast or Forgeworld "Emmentaler cheese" resin looks much better.

Now I'm really down, as I took all the heroines in resin. What a fool I've been to trust RH promisse of uncompromising quality.

As iPaint already wrote I can only hope that the troops are cast in a better quality.

Main reason I took metal heroes, was concerns of bending in the weapons.

Oh and good to see Natasha and butterfly Lulu... those are the two I am currently outstanding on... still waiting for a reply from Raging at the moment, so not sure what the response will be. Although I did say I'm happy for them to come with the 2nd wave.

That one mold line is bad. Aside from that, though, the issues seem similar to most resin models- I've got a set of Mierce models here with way more flash, and some warping. Nature of the material and will usually require some working with. Overall, I think those look quite good, though.

Thanks for the thorough pics, monkeytroll!

These are looking pretty damn good. No serious miscasts to date, just the occasional mold line and some flash. Probably some of the better resins I've seen, even the forge world I've bought had more issues so far from what everyone's shown us.

Monkey have you considered contacting RH about that one bad line? Be interesting to test their CS.

Regretting not getting Mortaria now, those lines on that mini are sick!

Further thought on the cool mini, pain to assemble note... I am now terrified of the tech priestess mini and I'm glad I got her in resin instead of metal

Now I'm sorta worried again, though mine are all metal. That latter one has some pretty visible stepping lines.

Still, the rest look OK, and hopefully that one model in particular was a 'mistake' or gets fixed ASAP.

For those who are saying they're not worried about mold lines because they ordered in metal, I'm curious - have you never seen mold lines on metal models?

I've generally found the flaws in white-metal to happen with roughly the same frequency as the flaws in resin, but resin is much easier to work with. I can use an exacto to carefully remove mold lines in resin. Metal, I really only have success with files, and there are some areas that you can't easily get a file to.

Currently working on a large batch of metal vostroyans, and while most of them are good, those that aren't are far harder to clean up than their resin or plastic counterparts.

From what I've bought, providing the caster is competent, metal models only tend to get mould lines as bad as those above once the moulds have been heavily used and are beginning to degrade. However, I don't think Nox's leg is a mould line so much as a mould slip, which is a caster competence issue, and the problem with Cruz isn't the material, it's that RH were daft enough to design the model such that the mould split was going right down the face through one of the eyes. So yeah, I don't think choosing the metal option will make any difference in either case.

Frankly I'd be sending that Cruz back - cleaning mould lines is a normal part of modelling miniatures, having to resculpt half the model's face afterwards is not.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

Yeah, Cruz is the only one I'm unhappy with, I have sent a pic to RH, I'll let you know what they say.

I went for resin as I knew I'd be cutting and chopping, and knew the trade off would be that there might be a bit of warping on some thin parts, apart from Cruz I don't have any real issues with these.

Well Haljin only seemed to get his notice today from his comment above, so I'm guessing they're still working their way through 'The List'.

And just had a reply saying they'll be shipping me a replacement Cruz on Monday. I make that 10:30 pm on a Friday night and they're replying to CS queries....they do seem to be improving their communications

I'm curious. Do you truly not realize how condescending and passive aggressive all of your posts in this thread have become of late? I mean, filter by thread on your name, and it's nearly an unbroken string of roundabout snipes at the other posters at this point. Seriously re-read that with unbiased eyes, perhaps you really don't realize it.

I have seen mold lines on metal models before, yes*; but since it's going to be a totally different mold I'm hoping they are less severe (or at least less badly sited); at this point my concern is somewhat more with the totally visible stepping marks.
Look at the upper (back) leg and thigh of the second model I quoted earlier, it's pretty bad.

*although none as severe as pictured.

Of late? I've posted exactly twice in the last month. Once was reasonable advice to file off the accidental fingerprint mark on blondies cape.

I mean, filter by thread on your name,

Do you do this with all the posters, or do you just have a crush on me?

and it's nearly an unbroken string of roundabout snipes at the other posters at this point.

Yeah, a little over a month ago, there was a huge period of whining, where near everyone was crying about how they'd never get their models and that the company wasn't to be trusted at all, and a couple of us, perhaps with more experience with kickstarter, were involved in quite a bit of back and forth.

*although none as severe as pictured.

I can only imagine that you've little experience with metal models. I could find far more egregious examples of mold lines on the metal vostroyans I'm working on at the moment than shown in that picture. It happens, sometimes you get a bad one. We haven't even had a chance to see if they'll fix it for the guy who got that and that one bad item is getting all the attention. Is it any wonder that people posting in this thread appear negative - there's more negativity in this thread than any other I'm a part of.

With regards to shipping, after something in the way of shenanigans I have received my own shipping notice.
