How very fortuitous. I planned on starting an Arbites army.

Hmm you know what... Add a shock maul and give her the right paintjob and you could make a fairly decent Shira Calpurnia stand in.

Neat. I am glad she doesn't have her zipper down to her navel with breasts the size of her head while bending over. It is just a solid simple model.

As much as I like suchs things ( ) I have to agree. It's rare to see a female assassin that actually looks fit to the job and isn't just a big "HAWT AND SEXY"

I am very impressed with this miniatures. The soldiers one look fantastic. I don't have much use for them, but I would love to paint them... they look so cool.

Personally I see black widdow or a generic female spy in flattering catsuit. I realy like her because she is attractive without being excesiveley unrealalistic or fan service-ey.

Does anyone else have a bit of an issue with the hasslefree necks?

I know many are stretching forward and stuff but it really does put me off a bit.

I don't see a problem with necks..other then they have them. Something GeeDubs avoids.

There is a word for a wargamer with an empty paint bench.

Kind of looks like she walked out of either the Matrix, Equillibrium, or Dark City. Nose looks pretty big though, otherwise, a very nice mini!

I only ever have problems with the proportioning of the hands (too big) with Hasslefree minis, but I like the lot anyway.

Don't worry there is probably a version of what you describe out there!

With some green stuff/platicard she would be a nice judge

Actually, a variant with some more Scarlett-esque hair would be great for a BW stand-in.

I think I need the full line of Moderns. Those are some of my favorite models I've seen from a small company in a long time.

On a second look, she reminds me of a bit of Maya from Borderlands 2.

Small features like noses and hands need to be a bit exaggerated to make them work in miniature.

The nose will look a lot smaller when you see the actual model which is about the height of the boot in the picture.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Not enough skin for Maya. Though some BL/2 inspired figures from Hasslefree might be fun. Especially with optional weapons like the moderns have...

It's still a WIP and knowing Kev, he always does the face last, so maybe the nose still needed to be done right? Who knows?

I think Kev does the hair last, which would indicate that she's done. Not that her nose is exactly massive, especially when the figure would be shown at actual size...

Aye, but at the time of posting that preview, it was still a WIP. So who knows, maybe she'll still get a nose jorb?

Really liking these figures. I'm not playing any modern or sci-fi games at the moment, but if I were I'd totally snag some of these. Especially the female soldiers, it's awesome to see some non-cheesecake figures (well, impressively done Sword Maiden-kini aside).

I'd kill for a miniature Gaige.

Me too. I really like the face, although I think the hair could be spruced up a bit.

As another poster said, she looks like Lady Gaga.
