Good question...

Maybe a steampunk goggled version?

Since he showed her with the bearded bride killer behind her as a WIP I wonder if a Game of Thrones homage might be in order

Yeah, you're probably right. As popular as steampunk is that seems to be the most likely option IMO.

There's a scene in the film in which she puts on goggles and a scarf/bandana before driving into a sandstorm. Maybe the alternate head will be based on that?

Anyway, I like the model. Wonder if he has any plans to do other characters. Guitar guy definitely deserves one.

That's not true anymore. Now people care about how movies perform in China, too. Pacific Rim is receiving a sequel almost solely due to the Chinese market.

If there is no guitar gimp mini, then Hasslefree is leaving money on the table...and then setting the table on fire. I hope we'll see a sniper granny at some point, too.

Righto, please take further movie discussion to the bowels of the forums please.

Also, gun now done:

Another rifle. I can't, for the life of me, think what I'm going to do with it

(Not really. I know full well what I'm going to do with it. And, no, I am not looking for suggestions.)

People don't buy DVDs of movies like they used to. The internet has killed that market. Movie studios now depend on international box office money to replace the DVD revenue stream. Major blockbusters made by the studios are designed to do well both domestically and internationally, that's why you see franchises like superheroes and Fast and Furious.

Guitar gimp would be sweet it would be great if flames were included.

There's a lot of potential for post-apocalyptic homage minis: guitar gimp, sniper granny, boomerang kid, humongous lord, peewee bike, paperchase guy. Megaweapon to run over the paperchase guy.

Gotta have Megaweapon.

Well..

Post-apoc female with alternate right hand, left arm and head.

Her head is just tacked on roughly for the photo. The join will be smoother when she's done.

Same here. Not too impressed with the alternate head, but I might can find a use for it elsewhere.

Ginnifer 'Jynx' Monroe is one of the modern breed of Thaumaturges, using the Veil to reshape reality to their will. Seen here doing just that and creating a ball of energy to throw against the bad guys.

Jynx is a little bit of an odd mini for us, it delves into modern fantasy in a way that we don't normally do. She came about after a conversation on the Hasslefree Facebook page about miniatures for games like Shadowrun which are modern but also use magic and psychic powers etc.

Resin Masters available here - http://snipurl.com/2a2px12

(We aren't sure how this will cast in metal, we will give it a try when we get to her slot but it may not end up working that well)

So, Original Jynx, Powered Up Jynx, or Both? smile emoticon

That's a really cool looking mini. I don't know what I'd use it for, but I'm very tempted to get it anyway when it becomes avaialble.

From Facebook, Kev's reply to people waiting for them to release stuff in metal:

"Lovely! I'll wait for her to be available when you release her in metal!"

Excellent! I take it you're aware that I JUST SCULPT THE BLOODY THINGS AND I HAVE NO SAY OVER PRODUCTION...?

It would help me, if, after you post your appreciation of a sculpt or other random guff from my alcohol befuddled brain, you would simply apply the following acronyms, as applicable:

"ARSE", representing the well known phrase: "Anything Resin Seriously Excites"

or

"TITS" which stands for "Tin Is Top Stuff"

Thank you for your cooperation.
