Same heroic intervention rules?

and similar pricing on gear?

Edit: also im pretty sure no rules have been posted yet so spill le beans. all of it

For gear 10pts for a shield, 5pts meltabomb, heroic intervention appears the same. Unknown prices for other weapons

Sternguard down 3pts per model

Also I retract the previous statement about the sternguard being ravenguard, that was an error on my part

You would not be saying that if you realized who was writing it.

-6 pts for vangaurd sounds a bit low, that puts them below current tactical prices. Unless it is -6 points for vanguard with jumppacks.

Also there is no problem with not liking something, however many people are phrasing it as an insult towards the people who DO like it. They are not insulting the mini, but the people who like the mini. Then are getting upset after insulting someone when someone gets defensive. Now am I saying all of the people are doing it? Nope, but enough are that I find I have to not post a response because it is not going to do anything and it will just bother me.

Elites though, they're really trying to push out dreadnoughts altogether aren't they?

Can either of the Centurion types take a drop pod, do you know?

Assuming I like the look of the shooty version, ultimately whether I want to run them or not will probably come down to whether they can use pods.

Mr Farson, my good man, a new set of more pictures would be awesome. At least, I've been told that.

Thank you, though, for the snippets. Very awesome.

Are there any units in the book with no models that might end up in a second wave release? 'Cos that would be sweet. I mean, what are we actually getting here? Just having 4 new units, split into two categories that are basically the same model only slightly different is a bit naff, especially when you consider the Centurions are butt ugly and the Hunter will inevitably look crappy rules wise alongside the Stalker.

Unsure on pods, mentions deep striking however

GW doesn't do that anymore. The plan right now is to release all the new models at once with the codex, since 3rd party companies were both eating away at their sales and also potentially causing some legal weirdness. There was a HUGE discussion about this stuff with the Chapterhouse lawsuit thread, which was again, massive.

Check out my Youtube channel!

Interesting indeed!

I'm a drop pod fan, and I like to start as many units in them as possible. But I'm open to a bit of old fashioned deep striking too. Thanks!

Hey, vanguards! A store near me accidentally put this box out for sale a month early, and they are glorious models. The box comes with four pairs of fancy-looking chainswords and bolt pistols along with all the hammers and claws and such, so it also functions as a better looking assault squad box. Slightly more expensive, granted, but I feel like it's definitely worth it.

First post by a new user is a leak photo no one else has seen? Perhaps GW does follow the forum chatter after all and are doing a bit of PR damage control.

Puppet's War? Chapterhouse? Mantic?

Ban Dai wins by several decades. Go Bots. Big limbs, small heads, stiff poses, bright colors. The small ones are actually about the right size. They have some plastic bits for all the plastic people out there, and some metal bits to make the vets happy

Although the models remind me of Snailiens.

In all seriousness, I would figure that Puppet's war would have the stuff first. Mantic is slow to release stuff, and Chapterhouse has been busy with the case.

Gravity gun and pistol, gravity gun seems to be a special weapon instead of a heavy. Apart from that nothing else mentioned in the wd

I so hope that is true! It gives me real hope for my Death Company <3

They are 20 points now.
So you probably mean the sgt is down 2 points and normal vets are down 1 point?
And are jump packs 3 point each or DOWN 3 point each?

That would make an equally geared squad 31 points cheaper than DC.
But you lose 1WS and 1A in exchange for Heroic Intervention.
You'd also lose Fearless and FNP, but you won't need those since you're in assault the turn they deep strike.
