So I play Eldar and I was thinking about who my most valuable unit or character is? To be truthfully honest I think guardians are now a huge asset to me and my army.
Who would be your MVP for your army?

As im sure others will say, it can often vary from game to game.

But overall, the MVP of my Nids is probably the Doom. Cliche I know, but when you consider his points, the amount of havoc I have wrought with him is ridiculous.
That or my Flyrants, Wonderboy and Young Nastyman (again, another obvious choice for the nids top units).

For my Dark Angels, its usually my Black Knights. Such a awesome looking unit, and can cause some serious hurt to everything short of heavy armour. Although in a recent game against Crons, 3 of them killed themselves in 2 turns due to Gets Hot

Eldrad, and I play Dark Eldar! Other then buffing my army like a boss, in the last 3 games he has personally slayed the Swarmlord, annihilated an Avatar and successfully murdered a Mawloc using that awesome force staff. That alone has made him my MVP for a good while ^^

My russes carry hard pretty much every game.

Either of my Chaos Vindicators. The amount of infantry they have crushed and armour they have destroyed over the years is phenomenal.

The lowly Immortal. With Tesla they take care of Infantry, Flyers, light armored Vehicles and MC. With Gauss, mostly anything vehicle related.

I play IG and since I added broadsides and a Riptide my army works a lot better.

I find (generally) the heavy supports are what really does the killing. I know that guard squad might actually win via the objective, but it's difficult for them to take it without the big guns clearing the way.

For me it's either my deathrolla BW, my lootas or more recently I will nominate my unit of 10 grots for plinking 2 wounds off abbadon with grotblasters!

For my Space Wolves it has to be my Thunderwolf cavalry, the amount of things they have chewen trough mind boggeling. Everything from Wraith Knights to Sisters Of Battle has been mauled to death.

As for my Grey Knights the award goes to my Paladins, So much in the terms of Daemons and other thing has died. Notebaly of these things are the six greater deamons they killed in a apoc game not long ago.

Unlike other posters I've never had any real success with my Heavy Support. In the end, it's either my HQ and my elites who win games for me, namely my biker boss and his nob pals.

Honorable mention goes to my Dakkajets. When there's no or negligible AAA or air support, they really shine.

The Emperor's Champion. He has killed things he had no right to kill. An army of Guard, Skulltaker, Wraithlord, a Super-Heavy. Hell, he almost killed a GUO in single combat!

I never thought I'd say this, but I have to give the badge to my Ethereal. Come for torrent of fire, stay for leadership bubble, afterparty with zephyr's grace (broadsides with battle focus lol) and 6+ feel no pain all day long.

I once had a guy who thought he'd play smart with me and stuck his venoms juuuust out of range of my broadsides even if I moved. He never did that again!

My two Lone Wolves [Muzzle and Blitz]. There are games were they take down a Squad every Assault Phase.

Probably would go to my crisis team with 4x plasma rifle, 2x fusion blaster which is then joined by my commander with 2x plasma rifle.

Everyone has precision shots and I can JSJ at a distance of 18-24 inches from the enemy. Over the course of the game this squad will just alternate targets, each turn taking out a sergeant and some special/heavy weapons.

Its also proven very effective at taking out TEQ.

I have to say it is my Crisis Suit Commander. I am the only Tau player in my group that ever fields him and when people find out he is not a special character they ignore him for most of the game till the damage is already done.

A close second would be Crisis Suits in general. They are the swiss army knife of the Warhammer 40K universe and you can kit them to take on almost anything.

With my Orks it would probably be my Big Mek with Kustom Force Field.

For my Tyranids, my Ymgarl Genestealers. I always seem to choose the correct piece of terrain to appear out of.

Bikerboss and the nob squad. Allstars, every game.

second place would go to the battlewagons.

Honestly, much as I am somewhat loathe to admit it...

Belial with twin lightning claws.

Only had a few games in sixth so far. Here's what he's done:

Game 1: Weathered a small squad of assault marines, wiping the unit, then challenged and murdered a jump chaplain. Never died.

Game 2: Wiped out Gahzgkull Thraka with full Waaaagh! powers up, then proceeded to murder a unit of Trukk boys...by himself. Never died.

Game 3: Killed Epidemius and tied up a massive squad of plague zombies for three game turns...by himself. Died with honor.

Game 4: Challenged Shadowsun and took her down. Evaded Plasma fire from Crisis suits.

Corbulo... the man has been the game changer for so many games. He draws out the amount of assault phases it takes to finish combat with his 2+ fnp.

After Corbulo it would have to be my sniper scout squad, another unit that can potentially do more then their points worth.

Annihilation Barges.

Seraphim. They may die a lot, but they always make an impact.

Do they kill their opponents with Mind Bullets?

For my CSM hands down my Khorne Warlord Phil. I've seen him chew through armies before but whenever he dies oh well Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows so long as it does.

The last game he chewed through two squads of Blood Angels and a Death company with the warlord Chaplin. Due to horrible rolls the Chaplin did 2 wounds to Phil with his power fist. But Phil had a 5T from the boons. So solo Phil goes to charge the Devastator unit only to be killed by a stray blast from my own Oblit plasma cannon.

My Legion Moritat has wiped out many a heavily armored unit in single turns of shooting. Dual Plasma Pistols are deadly, and Artificer Armor makes those overheats very easy to shrug off.

It's hard to say for a ork army.. all my units are important! and does well

For me, the humble cultist. Im always glad i take them.
