I don't think the site will be "officially" shut down. It will just hang around as the Resin Forge page. I personally don't believe any of those "alleged" () commissions BCS was going on about all the time before the titan - for the simple reason that it was just pics picked from the internet as inspiration (hell, ALL of those pics were even posted by the LEXICANUM, I wouldn't put it past Daniel to take them from there as he feels so superior ) - there was never any showing of actually finished or even WIP stuff related to those commissions. PLus very suddenly there were the: "Hey, we have two unexpected openings for commissions, gimme your money" kind of posts.

@Kingcatwell, did you get the Email that BCS claim to have sent you? if so you could always reply by way of an old email account that you no longer use,, so any rants/threats toys out of params emails he sends will go to that one.

The most obnoxious thing is that at least one of those fan pages is run by an individual who has/currently does post on Dakka.

Amusing he always singles Dakka out when the entire community is after him lol... oh well, nice to be noticed I suppose.

Also amusing that 'Alan' seems to be playing the 'never heard of it' card more and more. Mandelbaum was always the consumate victim, playing on people's morality and any doubts they have to get them to protect him. His 'puppets' tend to be pretty good and moral folks for the most part. Easy to manipulate a good person if you have no hesitation to lie about anything.

Keep those eyes peeled guys...

It is profile of DM to do this. Sharing said video could easily rectify the situation, and the poster was not at all being insulting towards "Alan" he was offering to help him. But the immediate denial and lack of willingness shows that it is a hoax.

It's like the argument that I can't show my photo because of private information, but let me post a video with a mask because that will reduce the insults and harassment.

In this case Alan says:

If it is not a business run by DM he can easily prove it by provided
1) A registered business ID that is not in any way related to DM and shows that he is a legal business. Something that at this moment, he has not done, and therefor can be assumed to be operating illegally.
2) A local reputable business or game club that can verify his identity, Since at the moment he does not exist.
3) Prove that he actually had the files for the titan and was capable of printing them and that he did not knowingly commit fraud by taking peoples money for product he could not deliver.

As a community we're more than understanding of other people and their situations, but the response that "Alan" has towards people probing and asking questions is to be rude and insulting and then delete the evidence of the conversation.

As pointed out, when DM was backed into a corner he used an admin account from RF to spam 40K related pages with dakka hate and try to rally support. A task which he seemed to gain some support from a few pages despite the amount of evidence against him!

Daniel likes to be thought of as the victim, which is how he cons people into supporting him. By placing the blame on invisible enemies people feel sorry for him. He blames Dakka for harassing him, and a party he won't name for selling him a stolen file. But he won't provide the information of who stole the file or show proof that he ever actually obtained the file.

If I personally had sent him money at this point, I'd have contacted Paypal for a refund and reported him for committing fraud, as well as reported it to the local authorities that he was committing fraud and operating an unregistered business.

I urge anyone who has hired his studio to find another professional for your needs. I'll even help you find the right one for you!

Inquistor S: Your right the page won't be "Closed" but I was hoping for the same "Closed" we got on Resin Forge where the page went to 0 activity. Although now it is back up sending out FB messages.
About the photos, if we could find the original artist who created the renders, it would be another lie on the page. He claims he received them all from clients who designed them because they are interested in having the models printed or converted. If the original artist did not submit the pictures for creation by BCS it's just another cog in the gear.

Although at this point I'm sure DM is now coming up with a story to rebuke this statement, which "Alan" will blast to the groups of blind followers who refuse to listen to reason.


(Not to mention, am I the only one who thinks the Word Bearer church thing looks stupid? Let me slap some plasticard together and then attach random cannons and bits of hatches and engines.)

Another example of how Alan's actions mimic Daniels. From the insulting tones to avoiding the questions.
Not to mention the fact that he refuses to join Dakka and post for himself. Something that takes 20 seconds to do! But would also give the IP address to the admin team.

He asked what he can do to prove he is a real person and not DM.
All he needs to do is answer a few very simple questions.

Both Mandelbaum and Welson frequently contradict themselves -- this is one of the reasons why Welson is thought to be Mandelbaum.

I got BigBad's contact info in 23 seconds by googling BigBad Catwell and finding his Shapeways page. Not a huge research effort because the thread is mainly about his 3D printing activities.

There's a facebook profile with that name, doesn't look like the usual fake ones as it's an active one. I'd guess it's a modeller or painter or sth of the sort.

He publicly asked several times for the address but no, we do not know precisely when I think. However Catwell will be able to tell you precisely what the timestamp is on the message that he received.

Munkey Joe saw his name mentioned here in connection with MAndelbaum and since he doesn't wish to be thrown in with scammers, he contacted me on Facebook and he made an account now on Dakkadakka. Expect him to post in the near future.
