The only Alan Welson on record who ever officially lived in the LA area was born in 1911 and lived in Alameda CA for the 1930 Census...

Google and Ancestry.com? Oh please... That doesn't prove anything to be honest. Don't know what is meant by "background check sites", and I don't know if in the US all info on everybody has to be accessible. But I am least sceptical to infer that a person doesn't exist from that.

In the US you can do a relatively good job of proving a persons existence. It usually requires paying a bit of money but all birth certificates etc are part of public record.

California birth, death, fetal death, still birth, marriage and divorce records are maintained by the California Department of Public Health Vital Records.

From the CA.gov website. Which means there should be some record of a guy who never lived anywhere else but Los Angeles.

Yep, and to add confirmation, I have done an in-person trade with Munkey Joe when he was living in Maryland. I haven't had the time to follow this thread closely due to the holiday weekend in the US, but Munkey Joe is a very real and A-OK dude

I agree with Tom. The more OT the thread gets, the more watered down our cause gets.

Welcome Munkey. I'd like to point out that the reason you were mentioned is because "Alan" was putting your name out there without any cause, something DM likes to do often to rope people into his cause. I have seen some of your work and am glad that you are following this. I'd hate to see your work dragged through the mud by a scammer.

On an update front, it would seem traffic is slowing down on the BCS page. In the last day it has lost a like, and the only post was 20 hours ago and shared to the groups he spams. Even there though it seems he isn't receiving comments. I think while Alan doesn't seem to want to quit, the community at large does not want to be involved in the drama he brings with him.

This might be grasping at straws, but I recall RF consistently saying "Lex" instead of using the full name, Lexicanum. Now, Alan Welson continues this. It struck me as kind of odd.
It's also very clear why he wouldn't trust Lexicanum if it is indeed Daniel Mandelbaum.

How about just mentioning that he continuously calls somebody Lex whose actual nickname is "Inquisitor S." then? That implies much more he knew exactly who he contacted...

And btw he still did not produce "a local Los Angeles, CA, reputable business or game club that can verify your identity " while he did post on his own page. I challenged him to do so ~ 36 hours ago. Couldn't find any activity of his in any FB groups or pages apart from his own since then.

Yup. Awfully familiar. For a guy with with 1.5 months of internet presence. Same goes for his attempted social media strategy, like-buying, post deletions and refusal to answer dirt-simple questions. Definitely seems pretty crafty and experienced for someone brand new to scandal...

To be fair - If I was "Alan" and I made a honest mistake, I wouldn't trust a random FB poster with the name "Inquisitor S.". It would feel way too random and like the entire purpose of their posts/accusation is to stir up drama. I probably wouldn't respond like "Alan" has, but I wouldn't trust it either. When looking at it objectively a name like inquisitor would indicate drama to me.

I will say that calling him "Lex" and not "Inquisitor" is the last nail in the coffin though, as it proves, atleast to me that "Alan" has had previous dealings with the person in question.

Regardless of who it came from, the questions asked, first and foremost just to show a simple, in program screenshot of the 3d mesh for the model he swears up and down he has, would exonerate him a great deal and would definitely show that both BigBad and my info to be incorrect. It would have made us both look like idiots.

So what possible reason, assuming 'Alan' is being honest, would there be not to do that? Unless of course, he never had the file at all and was selling nothing but lies, the outright most fraudulent scam ever run by Mandelbaum. He has sold recasts, he has sold commissions to be done... to my knowledge, he never sold absolutely nothing before, at least that I recall. Could be wrong about that though, it is possible he sold outright nothing before, knowing him...

Well Tom remember he did sell pre-orders on fulgrim which he couldn't deliver!

But as you said. He could easily exonerate himself and make the lot of us look foolish but instead he deletes posts and complains to others that he is being harassed and targeted in the same way that DM has previously done.


And while using lex doesn't strike me as odd, I'm sure lots of people would rather say lex than the full word, it was not tied to inquisitor s on Facebook so it means he had prior knowledge of who inquisitor s is. With a 2 month Internet persona that means someone who has followed DM conflicts before.
If BCS isn't DM it is someone like minded who followed the last incident to a T and is using that information to carry out this current scam.

And I did confirm 100% that in the United States a business has to display their business registration number somewhere on premises and website. It doesn't have to be in public view, but must be provided if requested by a consumer.

With this Titan, there is literally no possible way, ever, to deliver on those sales. It's impossible, without BigBads consent, or computer hacking. At its absolute unlikely best, Mandelbaum is trying to sell stolen goods. Period. At it's all but unavoidable worst, he sold a lie to screw people over, Period.

Prove me wrong Alanbaum, take a screenshot of the mesh. I dare you.

If Alan Welson is a real person who has been doing business in the LA area for years, he would have a California business registration number, and he would be very happy to supply it to disprove the alleged association with Daniel Mandelbaum.

You can read what you like into the fact he does not provide the info.

Providing the legally obligatory info would prove Alan Welson exists yes. And it is telling that the refusal to provide any verifiable corroborating evidence, legally obliged or just to shut us up, is missing completely.

But that would only prove Alan Weslon exists.

Providing that screenshot is takes 3 minutes, gives zero information on anything remotely personal, and would prove he had the goods to sell, and open the possibility that he himself was a victim as he claims. I.E, it would at least cast an ounce of doubt as to whether or not he is an outright scheming thief or not, and cast huge doubt on his accusers.

The first would not take care of the second... and the second, were I 'Alan', would be far, far more interested in putting to bed.

The alleged Welsonbaum plan seems to have been to hire (to pay with what?) 3D modellers (he was looking for some on his page), let them model the titan after the pics, create the variations of all kinds, ship the new 3D prints off for manufacture and hope for the best with no obvious known 3D print experience. Voilà, no problem. Apart from that tricky time factor, but we can rely on Alandaniel's talent to convince waiting customers with one entertaining family disaster story or other why the delivery would just take *a little bit longer*.

Yes, that is what he TOLD the people. What I wrote out was the BEST CASE scenario for what actually was happening (his "plan" as I named it maybe not accurately enough). The worst case scenario of course being he was just planning to grab the cash and run immediately. For the latter there are also indicators.
