Back OT, I practically finished my 4th Death Cult Assassin proxy and got a good way through the 5th. I also worked on the power blades of the ones I've already done.

OT, I finished, mostly, my Death Cult assassin proxies. I just have to apply some washes and base them. I would've liked to begin my flamer tank, but it took me longer to work on the remaining assassins than I thought. With them done, my Grimdark Future list is complete.

Finished my Death Cult Assassin proxies, then began working on my Not-Hellhound. Got quite a bit of progress through it.

Painted last of legions blood angel infantry. Now ready for 1st game. Also assembling buildings.

Started gathering up plastic card to make some more levels to connect with the old plastic bulkheads.

Building another box of LI Solar Auxillia infantry....

I've been working on a Great Unclean One I bought myself for Christmas. I've converted the other Greater Daemons in my collection so couldn't leave him out.

I've turned the Doomsday Bell into a chalice of sorts, plan is to use liquid resin to fill it with a noxious mix, about to pour into the freshwater on his base.

Building some Legion Imperiales Solar Auxilia aircraft (4 avengers, 3 Lightnings).

My friend came up from Wellington and today we played a game of The Angaran Chronicles: The Skirmish Game and we had a ton of fun. I played the five man band of the main characters of the series and my friend the horde army of Jaroaite and Jaroaian extremists. My friend's rolls were terrible while mine were frigging fire, so much so I got frustrated on his behalf. So, yeah I won, quite a walk-over, but I would rather lose a close game than win with a walk-over, in all honesty. But we still enjoyed the game.

Preparing for Tallarn! No date yet, no location known yet, no scenario hammered down yet, but I have been told to prep my armoured might, because the Iron Warriors are a-coming and they are as lovely as ever.

High time to fortify myself and break out a Christmas gift, an Incinerator tank:







The only parts that were unusable in the kit were the trench rails, both way too mangled and bent to be of any use for this one, but as is, chuffed that it went together without too much of a hassle for once.

Commander is a placeholder and yeah, Tallarn is a toxic hellhole around that time, so the model sticking out of the cupola is more to denote this being a HQ vehicle than anything else.

My Station Forge Not-Death Korps of Krieg dead/injured minis arrived yesterday that I plan to place on my Attelus and Adelana ambushing cultists diorama. I primed them today.

I placed them on the diorama as a test. 1st, I scattered them about as if they were killed in a fight...







Then, an idea hit me: the corpses could've been placed there for a purpose. For a Chaos sorcerous ritual, perhaps?







I'm thinking of freehanding a Chaos star with Blood for the Blood god, around the dead bodies or half of one, as the ruined wall is necessary to the ritual for a reason I don't know yet, and Attelus and Adelana are attacking to stop it. I'm not sure which way to go; I'm leaning more toward the ritual idea. Which one do you guys think looks better/is better for the diorama's narrative? I'd really like to know.

Only the left wing was slightly bent out of shape and had to bust out the JB weld for this build, wanted it to be as solid as it could be.

Finished painting two more dead Station Forge Not-Death Korps of Krieg for my diorama and started work on my Asurmen proxy that's been sitting around primed.

Painting blood angels. Maybe i get all painted before new released.

Painting a Barovian Witch, as something different and also a special character for a tournament.

Old World has given me a painting bug. I've been going through my minis and finally working on projects that have been piling up. Currently refreshing my old Empire army by repainting my old Empire General and wokring on a unit of Swordsmen I've had half done for well over 10 years now.

Swordsmen still need work but I finished my General! An Averlander from the Mordheim release. These models always had the proper large hats and puffy sleeves needed to properly represent Averland!

Built more than half of the FEC launch box today!

I’m on day 10 of my 2024 Hobby Streak.

Started and finished 12 teensy Contemptors, rounding off my Demi-Company formation.

Also took the chance to base spray my 6 Predators ready for tomorrow, when intend to blitz the lot of them. Still need to spray their alternative turrets (kit comes with double turrets, which is nice).

I may however revisit the Contemptors. I think the left knee pad needs some light grey, to help add visual interest and break up the predominantly black colour scheme a little.

And a small red dragon that just happens to be sitting on the paint table.
