Nah, I think it says right before you click to fill out the survey that it takes 3-5 days for it to email you back.

Uhh, *ahem* the Deadzone one said that. Haven't looked at MA yet though I assume they're fairly close.

They said the survey system can only send back 500 replies per day, so not everyone will get one instantly

I got mine instantly for Mars Attacks.

The 500/day limit shouldn't be a problem, not everyone is going to fill it out on the same day, especially considering how long it is open for.

I haven't heard anything for either Mars Attacks or Deadzone. I asked questions at the end of each survey...

Reasonably complex I guess.

Anyway, I got the confirmation email literally 30 seconds after I filled out the survey so I'm fairly certain that no humans have been involved at any point during the process.

Complexity doesn't matter.

The auto-confirmation being limited by quantity per day or taking vastly different amounts of time to be sent really confuses me.

Just to double check, an Alien Abduction/BotB pledge level comes with a free Robot intrinsically, correct?

Yes it does, with the included shrink ray and 5 shrunken soldiers, and a free saucer as well

I re-submitted my pledge manager recently, but didn't get a confirmation email after 5 days now.

I also emailed them through KS 3 days ago and haven't heard back.

Is this normal? :-/ and if so, is there any other way to get their attention, or a special email address to contact, etc?

There is no 'normal' here unfortunately.

When I sent my first survey for Wave 2 stuff in for DZ, it took about 2 or 3 weeks to get a confirmation back.

When I re-did the survey last night and sent it in, I got a response almost immediately.

Afternoon Invaders!

Today is no ordinary Sunday – it is survey deadline day!

You have until midnight GMT to let us know your address, contact details and what you want from the Mars Attacks Kickstarter, so that we can get ordering and know where to deliver to.

If you don’t get your survey in on time, don’t panic: we’ll be touch to collect your address details and selections.

To celebrate Deadline Day, we’ve got some awesome new shots of the test models from the plastic production tools. These are uncleaned and unedited shots of the test plastic models, complete with actual helmets – they’re not photoshopped, those are the real clear plastic helmets.

Furthermore, we couldn’t resist painting one up to show you the detail even further, so resident painting maestro Dave spent 1 hour (yes, just 1 hour!) painting up this bad boy, shown at 330% zoom and actual size for reference.

Plastic model painted to a good gaming standard - this is not a resin master(!)

We think that these are some of the most detailed board game pieces you’ll ever see. The depth in and around the eyes is incredible – Dave said painting the face was the most enjoyable bit – and the weapons and small details have come out great.

All-in-all, we’re very happy with these guys, and we can’t wait to hear what you think!.

After the debacle with getting my stuff a couple months late, I shall not be volunteering my services, though I wish you luck.

I think my survey is only $5 over my pledge, and that's including... oh drat. That's including courier which now that I think of it is probably not obtainable with credit... may have to go toss $10 dollars into my pledge so that my overage is $15 to make sure I'm actually adding proper money for the shipping. I did everything right and had a 2 month delay last time, not into trying my luck with a potentially off survey.

Of course I made a minor error last night (instant summary email) and when I submitted it again a few hours ago, still no summary, I'm sure there's a bit of a rush.

Yeah I redid mine today to swap out the Dreadball team and it took about 3 hours to get a confirmation email, I'd say they had a bit of a surge today and if their mailing system hits it's 500 email cap then you might not even get one until they reset it.

I really should have done an "Azazelx" on this one.

And by that I mean "Pledge for a dollar to get access to the Pledge Manager Just In Case" and not the "Original Azazelx" of "Rage Pull My Pledge"!

I'm leaving a dollar in on dbx 'just in case', seems a solid practice, if you think you might want something, even just s little bit. Just watch doing to many at once or you might run into overload (mostly cautioning myself here

)
