CincyDooley, makes me laugh that sometimes you will write quite detailed, several paragraph-long critiques of things, and then other times you can write something that sounds like an 8-year old tugging at their parent's sleeve on the way to the candy store

In line with the AvP thread, this now needs a picture of Hudson with his 'It's game over man!" face. What would be the Heroquest equivalent?

No idea what's going on now - I've seen the time reported by 2 different sources but GZ themselves haven't said anything since Friday - apparrently this came straight from the source - all I can do is relay what's out there - sorry if I got hopes up and it doesn't happen today

How hard is it for them to just tweet something official?

The source of this "new/rumour" would be pretty key.

The second word there makes me doubt its veracity, or it might simply be slightly delayed by some last minute snag.

It's no problem DaveC, just odd that they're letting times get put out if they're apparently not correct? Very easy to say "No it's still not approved" if that's the case... I was panicking because I couldn't get to a PC as I at least wanted to see this launch, but no worries now I guess

Thanks for the heads up...

I suspect we'd do well for at least a tweet from the official source before we go crediting things only purportedly coming from the official source.

They seem quite capable of speaking up when it suits them.

Well, 2 false starts (one which they themselves announced and missed, and another which was obviously thought to come from an official source that they missed) can't be good...

Well then they probably should... This project has the potential to be huge if they handel it correctly. In my opinion keeping quiet is not a good way to handel things.

The news came from http://www.heroquest.es which is listed in the offical HQ FAQ http://www.heroquestclassic.com/faq-es/ but that site has gone done for some reason. So there is a link between the 2 at least.

cincy's got me all fired up and impatient now!

I had a feeling they wouldn't be able to get it live today. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some kind of legal shenanigans did crop up to stop this one.

I saw the second thing on their forum posted by a user, not from Gamezone.

As for the first, there's been plenty of KS with last minute delays as they're not approved on time (RBG being one I immediately remember)

Again, holding them accountable for rumours seems like a bit of a stretch.

I mean, if I say that I totally heard they were going to start up at 17:00 EST and they don't go live in 33 minutes, is that another "false start"?

Friday I'll give you, they said "hours, not days", and here we are days later.

But unless it's from an official source, I'm willing to cut them a little slack.
