Sabbat Crusade is a new anthology, edited by Gaunt’s Ghost author Dan Abnett. The stories within take place during the legendary Sabbat War, made famous by the heroic exploits of Commissar Gaunt and the Tanith First and Only.
ABOUT THIS EDITION
The First Edition of Sabbat Crusade is presented in a large format premium hardback contained within a camouflaged slipcase with Tanith iconography. The hardback itself features stunning new artwork from award winning artist Raymond Swanland, and the pages of the book are black-edged with a matching satin market ribbon. Inside, the book also features a unique, internal colour section depicting characters from the anthology.
++++++++++++++
So these are all brand new stories? I know sometimes they do anthologies of existing material and it's technically a new book. The website doesn't even have a list of actual stories contained therein.

The novels are a guilty pleasure, but re-using the same formula over and over again does tend to get a bit boring.

I think they are -- although some talk one ( or more..?) might be reprints of previously limited edition/similar short stories etc.
More details as/when.

Honestly with the direction BL is going I think they need to be cut off of their life support. FW writes better than them without even being dedicated to it specifically and at this point what are they contributing to the lore? Their pricing is ridiculous and print is hurtling towards a horrific demise (unfortunately) GW needs to A. Finish the HH series. We've dealt with every obscure detail, footnote, and fun fact with an entire book EACH. The only real thing left is the Battle of Terra. B.put a separate 3rd party company in charge of writing these things. I am beginning to notice a lot of burn out in these writer's works, which they have all been doing more or less non stop for a decade now. New blood and a different outlook on the universe can do wonders for 40k Literature. C. Let it go. I love some 40K books and Betrayer will always be my favorite depiction of the warhammer 40k universe. But GW needs to focus on some other things right now and I am (assuming) a small book company in 21st century isn't doing to well. Just my personal opinion and I understand that other people want to keep it around.

Black Library very much seems to have been infected with the same blight as GW proper, and alarmingly, FW as of late (special contemptors ahoy!) and that is volume.
They want a constant barrages of release, and that works alright for 40k, occasionally for FW, but not at all with books. People are only going to buy what they're going to read, given their constraints on time. Shovel out a dozen Bolter Porn books, and most people will pass them by, I know I certainly haven't touched anything not vouched for previously in some capacity; there's too much of a glut for me to make sense of it.
Release a few books from well received authors, and give the authors the freedom to write to their strengths, rather than company lines (the recent scuttlebut regarding Black Templars being cut down to normal chapter size on company orders jumps to mind, the much maligned dragging out of the Heresy series as well) will work just as well, or better without headache.
I basically ignore anything released that isn't Gaunt's Ghosts or Eisenhorn/Ravenor related; if I can only read so much, why take a risk with some Space Marine trash when Abnett continues to write fairly well, and seems to enjoy the creative freedom so few authors have?

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Honestly, the only omnibus that appeals to me is the Path of the Dark Eldar. I quite like all the political manoeuvring, backstabbing and general douchebaggery that goes on in Commorragh. Plus the Harlequins are quite amusing. I found Valedor to be quite boring and a genuine struggle to progress the story.

As his life ebbs away and the priests try to save him by any means necessary, the Great Wolf remembers the primarch’s departure and his ascension to his role.

I can't see all the novellas ending up in main books......but in the GW world who knows and that BHoS finding it's way into book 31 has annoyed me no end. Not sure what to do. Revered Chaplain and Warden of the Death Company, Lemartes is the only Blood Angel ever to have resisted the Black Rage. His deeds and his will are legendary, his ferocity in battle terrible to witness. When Lemartes receives a vision of war, he and the Blood Angels of Fourth Company head to the world of Phlegethon. Amidst a rising storm of Chaos, they must defeat the renegade Blood Disciples and a far more harrowing foe... the Red Thirst itself!
