Not much news or many releases really of late.
There's some new art prints etc and a few -- short -- audio dramas for the HH.
... I believe the changes to the WFB worlds have caused or at least contributed towards this somewhat barren patch...
.. anyway, there's an interview here with Mr Abnett
http://www.eatgeekplay.com/creative-spaces-dan-abnett/
Which mainly deals with the hows and wheres of writing but does include ..
What are you currently working on?
I’m writing Guardians 3000 and Korvac Saga for Marvel, He-Man for DC, several 2000AD strips, several games, and a Warhammer novel. I’ve just finished work on my creator-owned Boom! book Wild’s End (with Ian Culbard) and that was huge fun… and a big enough success to warrant a second series. Some projects are just starting, some are ending, and some are waiting to happen. The Warhammer novel will be done soon, and after that is a Tomb Raider novel, and then I start on an original fantasy novel for Gollancz, which I’m really looking forward to and is a big deal for me. There’s a lot I can’t talk about at the moment in terms of games and comics.
Now "warhammer novel" could just be shorthand or just a generic reference but I think he knows the IP enough that he might well mean an actual warhammer/fantasy novel.
I think he'd specify it it being 40k or HH or whatever if that's what it was.
And if one was to (re)launch your fantasy setting then one would suggest that Mr Abnett would certainly be a good choice to help set the tone of the setting.
possibly.

I really want to read the next instalment, but on the other hand, I do find his quality taking a dip over time. I've got a feeling it will end disappointing or be a repeat of the Ravenor trilogy, which started off strong but ended rather weakly and rushed.

The Ravenor trilogy is why I don't care about the Bequin trilogy or whatever it's called. And Sabbat Martyr was the last truly good Ghosts novel; there, I said it and it can't be unsaid.
His stand alone a and HH novels seem to have even odds for being great or disappointing like a wet leopard growl.

I thought Embedded was great too I wonder if he will ever make a sequel for it, the world seemed quite interesting, sort of a future space-wide Cold War.

Main problem with Pariah is that he relies too much on name dropping and referencing and hinting at his previous stuff, even going for a I. AM. ALPHARIUS.

Et In Arcadia Ego
|
Seems this week we're getting e-book releases of stories from a past event special :
http://www.blacklibrary.com/all-products/the-imperial-truth-ebook-collection.html
THE STORY
The Emperor decreed long ago that there were no gods upon the Earth or in the sky, and that all of mankind's belief and aspirations should be poured into His vision for the galaxy instead. Upon such unshakeable foundations was the Imperium to be built - except that the Imperial Truth was a lie, and the powers that the Emperor denied had already sunken their claws into many of his sons. With the treachery of Horus now known from the Eastern Fringe to holy Terra itself, how many more of his father's words will be proven false in the days to come?
IN THIS COLLECTION
Hands of the Emperor by Rob Sanders
By the Lion's Command by Gav Thorpe
Lord of the Red Sands by Aaron Dembski-Bowden
All that Remains by James Swallow
The Phoenician by Nick Kyme
The Devine Adoratrice by Graham McNeill
READ IT BECAUSE
This anthology contains six stories exposing the sinister side of the Emperor’s will. Discover how his light and his just followers fall into shadow – and it's within these shadows that evil lurks..
Looks like 1 will be released per day, suspect that the Angron and Fulgrim related ones might well be released together -- they're both really short, 2-3 pages each.

... so BL have update their website somewhat
http://www.blacklibrary.com/new-at-bl
.... well .. yeah, lots of sites seem to be going for this format/layout.
Mr Death Nikorps has dug up some info about future releases :
-- many thanks
Asurmen is the first and greatest of the Phoenix Lords, a demigod of battle whose legend spans the stars. He shielded his people from destruction at the time of the Fall, and led his chosen warriors, the Dire Avengers, in defence of the eldar for ten thousand years. A superlative warrior and peerless leader, Asurmen is one of the greatest hopes of the eldar race.
Horus Heresy Deathfire by Nick Kyme
Vulkan lies in state beneath the Fortress of Hera, and yet many of his sons still refuse to believe that he is truly dead. After a seemingly miraculous rescue by the Ultramarines, Artellus Numeon, once captain of the Pyre Guard, urges the other Salamanders on Macragge to leave Imperium Secundus and return their primarch’s body to the home world of Nocturne – there to be reborn in the flames of Mount Deathfire. But Numeon grapples endlessly with his doubts and fears for the future of the Legion, while their foes seek to carve out new destinies of their own..
Ahriman: Unchanged by John French
It has taken many long years and countless sacrifices, but finally Ahriman, former Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons, now exile and sorcerer, is ready to attempt the most audacious and daring feat of his long life. His quest for knowledge and power has all been for one purpose, and he would now see that purpose fulfilled. His goal? Nothing less than undoing his greatest failure and reversing the Rubric that damned his Legion…
I Am Slaughter by Dan Abnett
As the greatest Ork Waaagh! ever seen threatens to engulf the galaxy, the Imperial Fists make their last stand
It is the thirty-second millennium and the Imperium is at peace. The Traitor Legions of Chaos are but a distant memory and the many alien races that have long plagued mankind are held in check by the Space Marines. When a mission to exterminate one such xenos breed on the world of Ardamantua draws in more of their forces, the Imperial Fists abandon the walls of Terra for the first time in more than a thousand years. And when another, greater, foe strikes, even the heroic sons of Rogal Dorn may be powerless against it. The Beast Arises… and it is mighty.
Whilst one is always glad to read more work by Mr Abnett, given this and the Kharn series that is also up and running..well ... I'd prefer it if they actually finished the whole HH thing they've got going on before they then start filling in the gaps about M32 and so forth.

.. so actual releases !
http://www.blacklibrary.com/horus-heresy/raptor-cd.html
THE STORY
After the decimation of his Legion on the killing fields of Isstvan V, the primarch Corax sanctioned an accelerated implantation process to create new Raven Guard – a process subverted in secret by his enemies. But in spite of their horrendous mutations, the warriors of the Raptors still stand ready to do their primarch’s bidding. When a watch-pack of Space Wolves legionaries arrives unannounced, it falls to Lieutenant Navar Hef to greet their warlike kinsmen and decide whether or not they might be hiding flaws of their own...
Not a bad story at all, not essential by any means but cool enough.
http://www.blacklibrary.com/horus-heresy/garro-knight-errant-cd.html
THE STORY
Long has been the road of Nathaniel Garro. After surviving the treachery of Isstvan III and the terror of his escape aboard the Eisenstein, he has become a paragon of loyalty and protector of the innocent. Whilst his Death Guard brothers faltered and fell, his belief in Emperor and Throne remained true. For his charge is a most sacred one, given unto him by none other than Malcador the Sigillite, to recruit the Knights Errant and lay the foundation for a secretive order dedicated to the eradication of Chaos.
ABOUT THIS AUDIO
This 8 CD box set collects the previously released Garro audio dramas Oath of Moment, Sword of Truth, Burden of Duty, Legion of One, Shield of Lies, and Ashes of Fealty, and also includes bonus wallpapers and production scripts.
The Horus Heresy has seen many heroes rise and fall, and few have risen higher than Nathaniel Garro. A scion of the XIV Legion, the Death Guard, Garro came to prominence after his dramatic escape from the battle on Isstvan III that doomed so many Imperial loyalists to death (in the novel ‘Flight of the Eisenstein’). Recruited by Malcador the Sigillite as his Agentia Primus, he became a recruiter for warriors who might just change the course of the Horus Heresy – or the Imperium itself.
And now you can listen to the full first phase of Garro’s journey in ‘Garro: Knight Errant’, an amazing box set featuring no fewer than six audio dramas. Spread across eight discs, these stories chart the trials and tribulations of the former battle-captain as he grows to accept his new role, then begins to wonder if he is destined for something greater still.
Comprising the audio dramas ‘Oath of Moment’, ‘Legion of One’, ‘Sword of Truth’, ‘Shield of Lies’, ‘Burden of Duty’ and ‘Ashes of Fealty’, this unmissable box set also features several panels of gorgeous artwork by Neil Roberts (also available as wallpapers on the bonus disc) along with quotes from each story, and PDFs of every script.
You can pre-order this amazing box set now, and remember that if you’re looking for your last few Service Studs, ‘Garro: Knight Errant’ will get you one.
... Pretty certain I already own all of these already, think £50 is a bit of a saving compared to buying them on their own..? Decent enough set though, great present perhaps ?
http://www.blacklibrary.com/horus-heresy/damnation-of-pythos-paperback.html
THE STORY
In the aftermath of the Dropsite Massacre at Isstvan V, a battered and bloodied force of Iron Hands, Raven Guard and Salamanders regroups on a seemingly insignificant death world. Fending off attacks from all manner of monstrous creatures, the fractious allies find hope in the form of human refugees fleeing from the growing war, and cast adrift upon the tides of the warp. But even as the Space Marines carve out a sanctuary for them in the jungles of Pythos, a darkness gathers that threatens to consume them all…
READ IT BECAUSE
Following the fate of some of the few survivors of Isstvan, this book gives a unique insight into the fate of the wider Imperium, should the Warmaster’s plan succeed.

I suppose so, at this point. Its just that on the Black Library site, its listed as January 2015, so I thought its release would be imminent.

Likewise. I think they are kidding themselves if they think that giving me one for free at this point, when I've only got one myself over the whole time the promotion has been running, is going to persuade me to drop another £180 (in 4 seperate orders) in the next few days...
Then again, maybe it will work on someone.
