Yeah, how about telling us where we collectors already have it so we don't buy it again, like I nearly did.

How about new novels in softback/mmpb for decent price, instead of reprinting the same stories in different formats? I remember when I used to be excited about new BL releases, and buying 2-3 MMPBs/omnibuses from them a month, with new novels and series, trilogies, anthologies. Now in the last year my purchases of BL have been the Legacy of Caliban omnibus, Flesh Tearers battle book (both with a gift card I had burning my pocket), Deathfire MMPB about a year and a half after it's hardback release, and some fantasy books for 25 cents each at the library's used books bin.
I just hope that BL rotates back to being half decent instead of the wreckage of the past 2-3 years.
On topic, Fall of Malvolion appeared in the Let the Galaxy burn Omnibus (which I used to have until someone I lent it to never returned it )

Here's something else that's made my collectors blood boil a little this fine valentines morning!
My lovely wife gave me the Fabius Bile gallery print this morning to go with my small collection of gallery prints. I have the prints on a wall for my hobby room artfully displayed and I really love them, so I was chuffed to receive Mr Bile.
But horror awaited! They have changed the prints completely they used to be printed on fine textured art paper now they are glossy and shiny. The small and numbered titling has disappeared and replaced with crude bold type that looks like I printed it from ms word. The border is no longer buff cream it's off white and to top it off it's a different size (not much but enough).
So in other words it won't fit with the existing collection. WTF black library???
Oh and the price has gone up by £2.50

That's the one. I took a look on the BL site and it does say in the description it's not on the linen paper etc etc. It seems that all the ones at £30 are printed on the shiny paper with the white surroundings. The older ones at £27.50 are on the linen paper. It's not a really good quality art print it's now a poster with a card surround.
Sometimes I wonder do they understand the word COLLECTION!

Update on the poster debacle! I sent a rather stern email to black libraries Politburo this morning and after some back and
forwarding they have refunded me for the print, which in fairness is pretty decent.
Bad news going forward they said they are sticking to the new format which is pretty crap but 10/10 for customer service.

I remember Laurie Goulding telling people over on the first expedition to email black library with concerns rather than just moan on forums. In fairness their customer service is always excellent at Forge World, BL or GW central.

...I just saw the ebook The Vorago Fastness and thought, ooh, yeah, I could go for that. Guess what, I've already got it - it's in the anthology Xenos Hunters published in 2012.
I shall be emailing BL.

I think the Vorago Fastness is worth a revisit. Sure, the drinks are overpriced, but the music is thumping danceable and the hook-ups are always top notch. Tip the bald bartender well and you will be amply rewarded.

The Gemmell Awards are amongst fantasy fiction’s most prestigious awards.
This year we are delighted to say that Black Library have two nominations in the longlist which you can vote for:
1. Warbeast, by Gav Thorpe
nominated for Legend Award for best novel
This novel is everything Warhammer Age of Sigmar fiction should be, and a worthy nomination.
Like much of the early Age of Sigmar fiction, the Stormcast Eternals took centre stage as we followed their re-discovery of the Mortal Realms. Gav’s Stormcasts were both heroic and tragic – eternal warriors nevertheless hunted by their pasts. The novel has adventure, battle, tragedy and a few nods to the World That Was for those who looked hard enough.
2. Black Rift cover, by Alessandro Baldasseroni
nominated for Ravenheart Award for best cover art
The iconic image of the Stormcast Eternal that features on ‘Black Rift‘ has become one of the most recognised images of Sigmar’s champions. Both the overall composition of the imposing warrior, and the intricate detail when admired close up make it a fantastic piece.
You can vote for these entries at the Gemmell Award 2017 longlist HERE.

That's great! Just shows we should be more proactive rather than just passive complaining, at the end of the day we all love the stories.
Now we can wait and see if anyone pays attention up above!!!

I did a double take at it. I guess it sounds different in Italian than it would in North American English.

A team on the brink of bankruptcy have just one last chance – and their coach's chance encounter with a mysterious halfling pie seller might just be their lifeline. Maybe. They hope.

When Guy Haley does anarchic humour, he does it really, really well (see 'Skarsnik', for example), and it doesn't get much more anarchic or humorous than this…
THE STORY
The Grotty Stealers’ glory days are far behind them. Provided with a duff load of players by the team’s parsimonious new owner Mirk ‘The Smirk’ Grobblehod, team coach and ex-star player Diglit is at his wit’s end. His new orc blocker keeps eating the throwers and is so thick he can’t tell his feet from his hands, snotlings have taken over the locker room, while Diglit himself is three lost games away from an uncomfortable last night at the hands of the local betting syndicate. After a disastrous pitch invasion at a Bovine Brawlers away game tramples half his best players into the turf, Diglit is about to throw in the towel, until a chance encounter with a mysterious halfling pie seller in a darkened alley offers him new hope. But are Boffo’s pies magic at all, and just what exactly is in that delicious filling?

Are they any good?
Like a lot of the Heresy books opinions are varied! I liked Deathfire and I'm far from a NK fan, it's an odd one to have a full novel about for sure, but I think it starts really well slightly tedious repetitive middle and a good end. It probably would have suited as a novella. Fear to Tread is pretty good all over and fills in some holes around the BA that needed filled for the overall story. Just make sure you are up to date before reading it.
I just finished master of mankind, it took me forever. I've had it on the bedside table for over 2 months! Having said that we had another baby 6 weeks ago and reading becomes pretty impossible if you still have to function normally, but life is settling down and I got it finished. The final chapters are fantastic. Maybe that's just when my concentration returned but I throughly enjoyed the end. Over all it's brilliant I love that ADB has mixed up the characters a little from the usual suspects and we have a full spectrum of imperial citizens on display in all their colour. Some cracking characters that aren't space marines which is brilliantly refreshing.
I actually took it with me to the maternity ward in case things took a while! They didn't but I did have to explain the heresy to the midwife as it was sitting on the chair.

It's a tale from the Webway War featuring one of the rarest (and almost certainly coolest) of all the Adeptus Titanicus' god-machines: a mighty Psi-Titan!
THE STORY
The webway – a bizarre alien landscape created by the eldar in ages long past; a network of otherworldly tunnels that burrow through time and space. When the wards protecting the webway are accidentally breached by the primarch Magnus, hordes of daemons are able to exploit this weakness to attack the heart of Terra directly. While the Emperor himself tries to hold the wards in place, a desperate battle takes place in the webway itself – a battle that requires very special combatants – among them the Psi-Titan Borealis Thoon.
