Guardsmen form a defensive line between housing and Verviedi] [Several laser pinpoints appear on the chassis from unseen snipers]
I really would advise against interfering. We are simply building hab-blocks, so that they may rest and eat in peace.
[To the troops] There's been a small snag, our tanks have been redirected to the wrong planet. Seems someone intercepted the message. [Glares at Verviedi]
Though I have full confidence in your collective ability to take and defend this area, proud guardsmen of the Imperium! And uh, not-men of the not-Imperium.
OOC: I don't think we would have any units that aren't op if we are using us.

Ooc: Well, I'm just a commissar, though judging from wound capacity, probably a Lord Commissar. Statting Verviedi or the dragon may have to be more like scenario settings. As in, an integral part of the board.
OOC: Stat my last iteration before the Immortal, and replace my "possess gak" with a Gets Hot! to everything within 12 for the purpose of not being absurd?
WS5 BS5 S4 T5 W3 I5 A5 Ld10 3+/4++ as a statline, with a power sword, Hurricane Bolter, IWND, 5+ FNP, and Master Of Machines should basically be accurate as a nerfed Vervi.
Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.
*The Cube now has a large cannon-thingy pointing out of what is presumably its front-face*
Meet the Death Ray! It fires a Ray of Death.
OOC: "Avatars in a Room: The Codex" would be OP as hell The Buttery Commissar would probably have IWND (2+), Verv would probably have an enormous winbutton, TNB would get ludicrous numbers of shots...

[Looks at cube] I am surprised this didn't happen earlier in the proceedings if I'm entirely honest.
Ooc: There used to be an IG model in the Last Chancers that didn't realise it had died until the turn ended, I'd say work from that. BC does technically stop moving or being a viable threat after being wounded.

So, Kroot don't exactly need Imperial credits or whatever your currency is, but after some talking heavy weapons would be a great paymemt. Along with the, erm, free meals, per se.
OOC: I myself wouldn't be terribly OP, but if you had something like 'BlackJack's Descendants' those guys would be pretty nasty I would imagine.

[Nods] Granted.
Though we do have s limited supply of plasma weapons, you'll have to negotiate that out with the quartermaster most likely. He quite likes toffee.
[Watches a Knarloc nibble a conscript busy laying roof tiles]
...I'm sure this can only end well. A sizeable platoon of irritating men, and a large amount of xeno that eat casualties...
Sergeant Gavron crouched behind the tree, preparing himself for his final moment. These damn aliens had been completely unseen during their assault. All he knew was that once he was in their line of sight, he would only have a split second to throw the det-pack at them.
He steeled himself for the move, but, just as he was about to take action ,he heard something from behind. He turned and faced it, heart stopping for a moment, as he realized he was caught.
He stared it down for several seconds, trying to figure out if a floating cube constituted a threat. The cube seemed to be around 1 cubic meter in size and made of metal, so he supposed that if it stopped floating, it could crush him. To his immense surprise, it was the cube that spoke first.
Hey, guys, I found another one! Can I kill it?
The cube sounded as though it had two voices, and not of the same personality, as their intonation was significantly different. The first voice spoke in a bad mood, the second in a positive mood. Another cube spoke up, this time from the other side of the tree.
No, dimwit, we're supposed to make it give us a hug. I suppose you could talk to it instead.
This new cube was very much being sarcastic. It was at this point that Gevron wondered why the cubes were speaking his own language perfectly.
The first cube spoke up again.
Oh, fine. Biped, give me a hug. How was your day?
"Err... Long... I guess..."
I was being sarcastic, just kill it. Zapping for the zapping master!
No need to mock me! Zzzzaaaaappp!!
And with that, Gevron was zapped into oblivion.

A pen might be nice to have. Oh, and things like bolters and grenade launchers would work as well, we have a nice amount of plasma weaponry from the Tau.
OOC: There once was a double post of this. Then it disappeared... Nice.
That story was great Selym. I'd like to see an ork's reaction to a cube

I guess we could set them up an electric fenced area. [Motions for some very uncertain looking guardsmen to begin doing so]
Ooc; Blackjack, that wasn't a double post. If you post around the same time as another person, it shows up as yours being there twice. Always refresh if you're uncertain.
OOC: I actually didn't know that. Thanks, I'll have to remember that.

Verviedi wrote: OOC: Huh. If I'm guilty of that, can you tell me so I'll turn it down a notch?
OOC: In character, you're fine. Godmodding would be an RPG's winbutton, and you're not doing that. On the TT however, an accurate representation would be some hilarious tech heresy
Well, they get cagey if they are locked up, so it's best to have relatively happy knarlocs that can walk around than angry knarlocs that broke free and can walk around.
OOC: I mean, it's pretty hard to fight Cthulhu, Russ (I suppose you could field your own primarchs in HH) or whatever else he's had in between.

*a group of kroot drag the body away, throwing the dog tags to BC*
I suppose I can talk to them, then. The Kroot seem to have elected me as leader, maybe it's all of the genes I've acquired. I'm not complaining.

OOC: I'd probably have pretty low stats something like WS2 BS2 S3 T3 W1 I2 A1 LD8 5+, but amazingly good shielding at 2++. My only weapon would be a pulse pistol, but would have lots of abilities. Repairing vehicles, maybe spawning drones like that one tryanid monster, disabling vehicles through EMPs/hacking. And with a permanent dedicated transport, the coach-remora.

PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

OOC: USS Voyager gets attacked by space pirates, and is somehow forced into a suspicious hole in the universe. After a brief but trippy passage through the warp, they exit near an Ork-infested planet. I only have a cursory knowledge of the Star Trek(?) universe, so I don't have any details for ya.

They don't have an up. Or a down...
Yeah, they're just cannon fodder really. Can't even process things. I'm probably going to use them to bludgeon things to death.
I've just had a better idea.
