Oh, Brother-Sergeant, I should be flogged for forgetting our most glorious brands!
And yes, I do paint my favorite passages on my armor. It is not an uncommon practice for Astartes to put meaningful words on their equipment. Though, oddly, the Space Wolves only ever paint the word "WOLF" on their kit.
I wonder what their copy of the Codex Astartes looks like.

Oddly enough it mostly talks about drinking ale and hitting things, with the word wolf mentioned repeatedly throughout.

*eye swivals round* There's one on table I think. Its covered in fur, runes and written on some form of velum....
Just next to book on how to build nuclear batteries, whatever sorcery they are.

I personally think it's some sort of code that only those blasted Wolves know. Our brightest Librarians have been trying to translate it for centuries to no avail.

"Traitor" is a harsh for coming from someone who breaks the Imperial truth on a daily basis. Besides, I had every intention of returning to the Emperor's side, if it wasn't for that PRICK Typhon killing off all of my navigators.

Do you ever wonder why I've only come out of the warp once since Horus's temper-tantrum of a rebellion? Even then, that time was to earn a favor from Nurgle. Up next, you're gonna tell me Magnus is a traitor because Ahriman keeps killing imperials.

No. Magnus is a traitor because he keeps plotting against the Imperium. Ask the Space Wolves how many times the Thousand Sons have tried to bring him into the material world at his order. And speaking of that one time, how are you doing since receiving that open heart surgery from the Grey Knights?

Is the Imperium really that blind to Ahriman's actions? The only thing he has had in common with Magnus for the last 10,000 years is that they are both trying to fix Ahriman's mess. Magnus has left the warp ONCE, and that was to kick Russ back for what he did to Prospero. I was there in the aftermath, the wolves deserved what they got. Besides, it was Russ who Listened to Horus's command to kill Magnus rather then to capture him. In regards to that damnable grey knight, since when does saying a daemons true name make them explode!? Besides, the damage wasn't permanent, beyond my ego maybe.
What of the Ultramarine's transgressions? Or did Guilliman keep his own failings from the halls of history?
