Hello everyone. I'm bored, but I'm also really excited because I recently got a job on campus (I'm a junior in college) working with a professor in the physics department. We're designing a new detector for the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at the Brookhaven lab in NY. It's a huge collaboration whose purpose is to study the properties of the quark gluon plasma, a recently discovered form of matter. So what do you all do to pay the bills?

More realistically, I work for FedEx handling maintenance paperwork.

Im a fry cook. Every moment I work I want to put a bullet in my head and let it end right then. My supervisor recenly sai I have to stay over and not put down the hours.
Im working on my sociology degree though to get a job as a social researcher.

4 more months and im gone. Im thinking of delivering pizzas after it. Maybe try to get a job in some place where I dont have to deal with people

Yeah. 100%. When I told the head boss he was on my side. If I worked so much as 5 minutes put it down. Then when I said she threatened to fire me he promised to talk to her when I next try to leave on time she says nothing. UT she thinks because she is salary and doesn't get ot neither should I.
