Bandai also makes Imperial Star Destroyers at the same size. I Got one and if it paints good I might get a whole fleet.

Would the Mecha Front miniatures work well as the various Mechanicus/Admech units?

Or find them on ebay.
It's a good game but it might be worth looking at Drop Fleet, Firestorm Armada or Star Wars Armada.

In any case they are really fun models.
I wonder who gave you that idea
Just dropped $20 on ships and then $20 on second hand tokens

Those who were looking for a suitable mecha kit to use as the basis for an alternative chaos knight, we have a new contender, the "Helmwige": http://hlj.com/product/bann12962.

That game has literally been in development/play testing for years at this point. I'll be happy when it finally comes out, but Andrea is still excited about releasing Rogue Stars, and I wouldn't be suprised to see a Rogue Stars supplement before the starship battles game ever gets finished.
I'm sure someone on here may find this of interest.
Kaiyodo is making 1/35 scale capsule toy model kits of various Maschinen Krieger power armors. If the picture loaded properly, you should see an assembled and unassembled AFS suit. The lineup will also include the SAFS power armor and the Fireball power armor. They come in drab green, desert tan, clear, and florescent pink.
Here's the three suits in green
With a bit of work filling holes and some paint, they look pretty nice.
All pics shamelessly stolen from Hobby Search. You can get a set of 12 from them for 5,000 yen or you can get them from HLJ for 4,800 yen.
Mostly I like this for terrain.. if you want a sub pen or similarly themed table. Makes me want to get that mostly submerged u-boat I saw a while back (can't remember where now) and go for it.
If the dimensions provided are correct it looks like it's about 8 1/4" long.

I Like MachinenKrieger but their kits are not cheap and mostly too big, from Kaiyodo means that will be reasonably priced

I dunno, the tracks look different from the Wave one. I know there was an unlicensed Chinese plastic kit, so that could be what's in your pic, JoeRugby.
Speaking of the Wave kit, when was that released before? I'd never heard about them actually releasing a Metal Slug model.
