There's no precedent for showing an incomplete list of options and rules. The only thing they didn't show in the MT White Dwarf rules were things which changed for the entire army; for the Militarum, it was orders, for orks is might be bosspoles, ammo runts and mob rule. I don't think they will have left out any unit-specific options.
Unless they have changed how they do things (and there is only a pattern of two releases to go on, so it's not exactly well established), I don't think we will get anything for flash gits which isn't listed in the white dwarf entry.
Of course, there is still the option of unit buffs from special characters (Badrukk may boost FG guns, for example) or army-wide boosts à la chapter tactics.

True, I didn't think of that. Stands to reason that the Gitz would get additional bennies when joined by Badrukk.

I think the Flash Gitz work fine at that price point. 22 is great for the shooting they offer.
Too bad they can't get the heavy armor anymore. The 10 I have already are pretty much covered.

How is that "fine" for the amount of shooting they offer? For half the price, you can get a box of lootas with far more versatile shooting, if random. And you can take the burna pieces like I did, take some assault on black reach orks which flood ebay or what have you, and get 10 guys. This will only make 5. Also can we please not go the route of paying more for more effective units. Time was you would pay for the amount of plastic you got, not its effectiveness. gorkamorkanaught being 10 bucks cheaper than the stompa is assanine, and that seems to be ok with them. I just know they are going to be ;idiots and price me right out of the meganobz with 60 or 80 for 3 like the centurions.

These are far better looking models and bits than the lootas/burnas kit (though they had some fun heads) and the AoBR kit. If all you need is plastic dudes to fill out your ranks, fair enough, but I would rather pay more to get better quality bits. The reason they price them so high is because they know people will buy them, they put out a quality kit this time.

QFT. There has been nothing in the Nauts, Gitz, and MegaNobz rules that has made me excited for Orks. So far nothing previewed has done anything to fix the huge holes in the Ork Playstyle. I keep telling myself to be patient until the new book drops so I can see these units within context of the army. Honestly if Nobz, lootaz, warbosses, & Dakkajets take a huge nerf without giving enough of a buff in other areas, I'm officially done with 40K.

Well to be honest, 3 meganobz will run you $60 now.
YOu get 4 lootas for $25 now. Not a terrible price. The flash glitz are a larger scale kit for a more expensive and more detailed model (larger too). The price isn't good, but it isn't a surprise.
To be honest, the $25 nob kit still surprises me. I can't believe they haven't made it $35 - $45.

Well what do you want? Put the flash glitz beside a stern guard. Same priced kit,yet flash glitz are a significantly larger and more complicated kit.
Were people really expecting them at the $25 price point?

No, but I wasn't expecting them at +$10 per model either. Something like $40 would have been what I consider more reasonable. $53 just feels like they did a market survey to see the absolute maximum threshold they could price at before people became entirely uninterested in purchasing.
(I know GW doesn't do market surveys but still)

To be fair to the sternguard, that $50 box is packed full of awesome. You can put together your five vets, and still have enough extra weapons, blinged out shoulder pads, and other cool looking extras to spice up every sergeant or other character in your army. I cringed when I put the money down for the new vet boxes, but once I started putting them together, all was forgiven.
If the flash git sprues are anything remotely like the sternguard, they will be worth the investment.

Agreed that the Flashgitz models and bits are better than the Lootas/Burnas kit.
But the Flashgitz kit is at par with the nobz kit. They both are of same detail and quality. Nobz box gives you complete 5 Nobz with plenty of options + an Ammo Runt. Which the flashgitz kit does too minus the Ammo Runt.
So why is one 25$ while the other one is 53$
Nobz box is more versatile. you can pose them in different ways. Flashgitz all face the same way, similar stance, hold gun same way and so on. Very one dimensional like Space marines.
And keep in mind I love the box and the amount of gun parts, the box is great.
but when I compare it to Nobz box and the price of that, the flashgitz box yells "I AM GOING TO RIP OFF EVERY ORK FAN"

3 sprues of Orky fubbin-y goodness, that's what the Flash Gitz box is. There's tons of bits and bobs to put on your guns, and plenty left over for more guns and gubbins. Only problem in my opinion with the FG box is their heads - they're connected to the necks, and then you put those on the models. Who designed that? But with some cuts you can make 'em better, or with a front body swap.

Or potentially one line that could have a major effect: "May take items from the X section of the ork Armory." where the X section is things like boss poles, stikk bombz, eavy armor, things like that.

(I know GW doesn't do market surveys but still)
$10 was what the old pewter special models and meganobz ran.
Look, I wish they were cheaper too, but they have set $50 as the base price for those large size elite style infantry. The new storm troopers came in at $35 each, but they are much smaller.

Well if they've set that as the price, then there's nothing you can do except buy them.

When you think about it in that context, it puts the price into perspective.

I'm not a fan of the gunz once they're all put together, but the bits are incredible as are the glitz themselves, imo. I may save up for a box just to add to my bitz collection. The WD rules are disappointing at best, I think. Such limited options, to take a BW or trukk. That line about "from the ork armory" sounds like the IG codex from what little I glanced at that. I'm still excited for the codex but every pre-book release has me feeling less interested in general.

Oh come on, does a $10 per model for a top level infantry model really scare you off?
