The Last Chancer Who Survived

I have a problem remembering the character's names.. I think there's just too many for my old brain to keep up with. I remembered Joffrey, Tyran, Jamie and Ed Stark and john snow.. the rest are just a blur.. cercei is "that sarah connor lady", grandpa lanister "last action hero guy", then there's "dragon lady", and "little girl with burned face guy" and "fire chick and that other king fella"

I actually thought poisoning was a good death for him. Joffrey always thought he was invulnerable from being surrounded by power. Yet all this this power could do nothing save him from a few drops of poison.
.
It was a great death, how he looked like a boy staring at his mother, asking for her help. It was acted greatly. Still, I would have preferred my version. To me and im not sure how many others, humiliation and dethroning would be great.
I have not watch the TV series, but one of the things I like about the book is “no plot armor”, i.e. the fact that even though there are a lot of unresolved plots and subplots tied to you, even if you have obvious story hooks linked to you, you can suddenly die, or something can happen to you that just kills off those unresolved plots and hooks. At any time, when you least expect it. I would quote a specific example that is fresh in my mind, but that would be spoiler.
So, yeah, Joffrey dying a death that was not what we wanted/expected to see is part of the appeal to me.

Yeah, but her apathetic, helpless victim personality completely wipes out her aesthetic appeal and then some. Truthfully I find her to be one of the worst characters on the show. I hope at some point she gets something useful to do.

In the book though she becomes harden. Basically put on a show of being weak willed and fragile while inside she a simmering red headed demon. Watch out for Little Fingers being he is going to play a major role in upcoming season and episodes

I have to say the latest episodes have gone just as I thought they would. (i've read the books)
And I liked they had Bronn teach Jamie. Seems far more suited to it than the executioner guy.

What? Nah, I ain't. (also didn't know she was legal, whoops a daisy) Didn't mean to. She is cute. I will concur. I think all the child actors have gotten better with age. (Acting and looks wise)
I mean Tommen looks like joffery's actual brother now. And sounds like a child king. Arya has always been awesome so. Yeah.

Well..I'm sure everyone looked their age in Mid-Evil period....I'm centering with Late Mid Evil with Games. Tommen from what I heard is actual "Geoffrey" real life cousin. Think I am totally wrong though but it does and look about right.
Bronn training Jaime makes Jaime even more dangerous. He gets the left hand down and takes on Bronn view and style of sword fight then he's literally a Long Sword Ginsu Machine.
Brann.....oh Hell..he be meeting them "Elves"
Even money and a case of beer he be King of North when he is done training.

I agree, I liked the scene where Daenerys used the warlock's magic to join the dragons into a three headed monstrosity and burn down the wall, allowing the wildlings to swarm over and murder John and the rest of the night's watch, before she herself got eaten by the black dragon head. The three/one dragon/s then flew south and ate everyone in kings landing before sitting on the iron throne. It was a good ending.
Spoilers.

GRRM has somewhat distanced himself from the rape scene.
For myself, I trust the showrunners and give them the benefit of the doubt that the changes they made were necessary for their vision of how they want to tell the story; an adaptation rather than a 100% faithful re-enactment. Unlike many other (maybe even most other) book to film\TV interpretations, I feel they have done a good enough job up until this point that they have a reservoir of goodwill they may now draw from. I'm good with it for now.

I just finished that episode there and I kinda came away from it feeling that nothing much happened in it. - I think I misheard someone saying that this was Oberyn's big episode, but that's still to come.
The best part of it was easily Charles Dance being awesome at the start.
