I'm torn. On the one hand, you got Team Stannis. On the other hand, there's Team Daenarys, which would be entirely worthless, be it not for
Spoiler:
Tyrion
teaming up with her. But yeah, with no Jorah and Team Lannister gone, I'm all in for Team Stannis.
What worries me, though, is that he is highly likely to be killed in Winds of Winter as he is "good" and "just". For the most part. And Martin hates those :(
Daenarys...and the latter proved being a terrible ruler multiple times.
Or more accurately the author changed her personality to make her a terrible and ineffectual ruler so he could focus on a bunch of new god awful characters and of course his beloved wall of dullness and the even worse "not Elves"

I disagree. Her personality feels very genuine to me. She has big power at her disposal (dragons) but lacks any experience with ruling. She puts personal feelings over rational decisions and thinks extremely short-sighted - and that reflects upon her poor reigning skills.
I didn't know Rogal Dorn joined the Game of Thrones- I bet he will win the Iron Throne and build a huge fortress to rival Harrenhall- not even Dany's dragons will beat him.
Team Dorn FTW

Right. Not only is she very young, she didn't spend her youth being trained how to rule. She's bound to make mistakes, and her position and power means those mistakes get magnified.
The message is that ruling is really difficult -- with very different difficulties than with coming to power. Her situation changed.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

That URL title is a bit misleading. He doesn't really confirm anything that people don't know already
Spoiler:
Since you’re almost done shooting Legends, that might mean you have a window in your schedule if Game of Thrones needs you back. There are flashbacks that they could be doing for season five …
[Excited] Are they? Really?
I could be wrong, but I think they might show flashbacks via Bran’s connection to the heart trees.
Oh, yeah, yeah! And I’m his father, so that would be great fun! Just to go back to that for a while, it would be such fun to do. It would be great! It would be bizarre, but it would be great! So I guess if they’re going to do flashbacks, then yeah!
Well, it’s just my theory …
But it’s a good theory! And that should happen, shouldn’t it? I’ve definitely got some unfinished business that needs to be resolved there. I’m obviously not Jon Snow’s dad. And you need that to be revealed at some point, don’t you? So Bran would kind of be the one having the flashback, and he would see Ned praying, right? And revealing those things? You never know what those guys are going to do with that. It’s got to be something special. But I’m into that. I certainly would be into that. Print that! Give them a nudge. [Laughs.] Hopefully I’ll get a call soon.

It's not even a theory. The part that Sean Bean says is known. Jon is not his son.

I can;t remmeber most of the characters now coming in - hopefully the TV show will make them more interesting than they were in the books (they have done a good job of this so far) - noted how quickly Cersei's children are growing up...................

Yeah I had to Google some of them and that's not even all of the characters.
One of the beaches close-ish to my house was shut down today for filming and apparently they were doing some fight scene, I'm assuming it's some sort of adapted Greyjoy scene or were there anymore beach fight scenes in the books?

I've seen a recent article that has very strongly suggested that with some of the divergent scenes/plot points in season 4, that GRRM is very nearly done with his active involvement with the TV side of the house.... And that season 5 will be so divergent from the books, that there's little reason for Martin to stick around. Not so much of a firing as it is a, "Look, this way we'll ALL make more money, as the books are the canon GoT, people will have to buy them, and the TV show if they want the "whole" story"
