Thanks Moltar, i will attempt to do so , my local comic/gaming store is running a 40k campaign, so i feel im missing out. It may drive me on to get more done!

no picture update, but i have started painting the big shooter boy, only managed to base coat him, lots to do still.

Finally finished the Big shoota orc, he took ages, I think it was all the bullets! Also I had to sculpt a jaw piece to his mask as I realised his head was tiny! anyway, pics -

As per, the base isn't finished but I'll sort them as a whole.
Cheers

Great models.

I really like how your making those orks standing more upright.

The basic GW boy model is always with bent knees and slouched over.

That nob reminds me of the sand people from Star Wars. Great conversions. Your orks all look like serious explorers.

Thanks for the comments guys! Yea I do think I maybe touching on some wasteland, raider, Fallout themes.

Managed to get two more painted, I'm getting dangerously close to have a unit which I'm excited about. I'm thinking about making a Weirdboy (as I bought the psychic cards, for some reason), or a runt herd.

Anyway, pics-

cheers.

I really enjoy the coloring of your Orks. Most Orks I see look rather bland and plasticy to me ( they are made of plastic after all ) but there is something about your style that makes them seem more real to me.

I really like the way the runtherd's head looks on your shoota boy, especially now with all that paint on him.

Man you are really capturing the spirit of how I picture Orks with this army. If you don't mind me asking how long do these guys take you to paint?

I want to have an Ork army but I am such a slow painter I can't get past the number of models I need to produce.

I love these guys, you've done an amazing job!

@ Fireangel - Thanks! Don't be put off by Orks, they don't have to take forever, I'm just massively fussy! A model for me can take a few hours to an afternoon if it goes well, but like I said I'm very fussy and I have taken a day if I'm not happy(the big shoota ork for example, still not happy!).

@ The Good Green - thanks!

Was baby sitting the puppy so managed to get some paint on the Hunta and base coated the Nob.

Pics -

I'm happy how this guy turned out, he has the Techo Feral look I seem to like

I really like your mix of savage ork bits. I think the mix makes them feel more orky to me than the usual shirts of the 40k ork bits if that makes sense

Thanks Rogue Wolves, I get what you mean I think , the savage Orcs are a little bit mono posed, but I really like them, plus they seem a little taller than the standard boy.

@ Warboss_Waaazag - Thanks, you have some mighty fine looking Orks yourself!

Small update, the Boss Nob is about half finished, but I decided to start a Runtherd to blast my army to the dizzy heights of two troop choices!

pics -

Very much WIP. I picked up an old metal Savage Orc command group, and thought he would make a good herder, he still needs a lot of work, but you get the idea where I am going. I tried to carve some symbols for his back banner.... It was meant to be a boar head..... think I'll attempt to save it during painting!!

Cheers.
