Hey Guys,

I played a little with "my army" the last days and tried out some configurations.
When it came to the Blood Angels, I first did not exactly know what to do, so I figured out a "push-forward" list with some supporting fire in the back.

- Bolt Pistol
- Jump Pack
- Smite
- The Sanguine Sword
- Force Weapon
--- Force Sword

---------- Elite (3) ----------

- Pair of Blood Talons
- Storm Bolter

Basic Tactics:

Depending on enemy the Assault Squads run over the field (enemy with just a few Tanks or kind a S8 AP3 5'' blasts) or deep strike to kill tanks with meltas.
The lascannon predators cover the backfield and give supporting fire.
The rest of the army goes forward; in the beginning the Cybots, who need to come into close combat, use the Baal-Preds as cover, but these Predators must keep space in between them and the enemy.

I hope for getting some good tactical or list building advices
thx

Get a SP for both the squads by taking out the regular Dreadnought. The 2 furioso will die without a transport: suggested: drop pod.

If I drop the reagular dread, I loose a Tankkiller with S10 AP2 CC. With Drop Pods I made the experience of getting shot in the back, where the Furioso are very weak...
I had to drop the SP because I ran out of points.

You still have Lascannons. And unlike the dread, the Lascannons might hit even if the opponent doesn't feed the tanks to you.
Seriously, he has only the slightest chance in getting to CC. As do the Furiosos.
But it's really a matter of opinion. It's just that most people want to see their 125p models to do something other than get funny looks and get shot to pieces at T3 because of foot-slogging.

Drop Pods are the way to go.

The rest of the list seems pretty good. Even tough having a single TL-Lascannon for 45 points is pretty much IMO, you'll save 90 points if you keep the Autocannons on Predators.

Oh, and the Scouts love having camo cloaks.

Take out the dreadnought and a furioso, get another SP, and give the other Furioso a DP and a frag cannon and heavy flamer.

Not seen marching dreads in a long time. Pods will help as all say, and its not too tough with a 6" disembark to prevent rear armour shots. I personally go frag cannon, melta gun and magna grapple on mine as they become amazing troop/tank or squadron killers if you do. The extra ~3 troops a hf will kill is not worth the loss of versitility in my eyes. To afford the upgrades (magna grapples) I would take the powerfists off the assault sarges as they are challenge bait anyway and replace them with melta bombs. After getting the grapples and mbs you still save 10pts.
45pts to upgrade 2 st7 shots to 1 st9 tl shot even if it is ap2 is an absolute rip off!!! Preds with autocannon and las side sponsoons are excellent av12 or less hunters. Rely on your assault squads meltas and podded furiosos to deal with anything tougher and save yourself 90pts. That pays for the 2 furioso pods with 20pts to spare. Plus the 10pts saved from before.
If you really like the idea of your dreads st10 ap2 ccw attacks, get rid of him, with the 145pts you now have spare, get a vindi to extend his range to 36" (with move) and up his armour to 13. Technically he is now a tank not a dread... but you can imagine :-p.
Also smite is a god awful power - get shield of sanguinius, then you can cast 2 powers a turn with a lvl1 libby.

There you go. Above is all true.

I like the heavy flamer because when you shoot the frag cannon the heavy flamer can help. The frag cannon can't help with the melta. In other words, the Frag cannon and the heavy flamer have the same purpose.

Totally agree with everything Poly Ranger said.

Also, with some of the points you're saving, I'd stick a missile launcher in your scout squads. Blood Angels overpay for their scouts, but underpay for their missile launchers. It makes them slightly more efficient overall, and a missile launcher will do serious damage to almost anything you'd be shooting the snipers at anyway.

Thanks for your tips.
If I drop the Cybot and the two tl lascannons, I can take two drop pods, one furioso with frag cannon & HF, one with blood talons and one Jumping SP
The scouts gain cloaks and missiles.
Power fists worked quite well, 'cause with meltabombs the sarges just give one melta attack, fists give three.
With my bad luck on attack is not enough

If power fists are working for you, then keep on using 'em, but for me, challenges made me decide to ditch them 90% of the time. A marine with one wound and a 3+ save is just too fragile in a challenge if he strikes last.
With a power weapon and a plasma / infernus pistol he's at least guaranteed to fry one dude before he charges.

Personal views:

-drop any dreadnought that is having to walk, unless its a long-range load out.

-on the Libby, use shield of sanguinius if he's jumping up the field with the boys, or blood lance/fear of the darkness if he's deep striking, instead of smite.

-save mucho points by making preds autocannon/sponson lascannons.

-sarges with fists usually just get challenged and die. Put fists on priests if you want them, and have "naked" sarges eat challenges. (Priests are also WS5)

That's about it. It's quite possible to win with what you have, because you do have good armor saturation, but I believe these tips will add some efficiency.

Glad to see people still playing assault marines.

Personally I would drop the dreads in favor or 1-2x stormravens. 2x ravens 2x baal preds would be pretty killer.

get more troops, maybe a lemartes or termie deathstar.

HQ: Libby, JP, Shield and sword-125
elites 2x sang priests jp-150

trps: 10x asm 1x pf 2x melta-235
trps: 10x asm 1x pf 2x melta-235
trps: 10x asm 1x pf 2x melta-235

Fast attack-2x Baal pred tl ac tl bolters-290

Heavy support: 2x stormravens tl lascannon, tl mm, hurrican bolter sides-460

pts come to 1730 you can mess with different configs and what not but this should prove to be nice.
Gives you come wiggle room to add some extra things but this is a heavy hitting army with ranged and air support.

Good...Bad... Im the guy with the, GUN!

6 and 2 3's really. I see your point and it works just as fine with a hf. Its just I play against squadrons quite a lot and 6 auto hitting st6 rending shots (if you can hit all 3 vehicles in the squadron) is absolutely awesome (especially when combined with a magna grapple and melta gun). Thats the equivalent of 9 assault cannon shots at bs4 usually against side armour.

For the storm ravens: I don“t really like flyers, I prefer tanks, because they are more flexible and nearly everybody is playing a massive amount of anti-aircraft weapons, so why not troll them.
I think I'll stick to this list:

I like the list, but keep in mind that if you give the scouts a ML they become more of a threat, so people will focus fire on them more...

yeah, you're right, but due to the small amount of modells, I think they will be targets anyway
