Subject: Don't Blink...first preview of "The Flash"!
Cleverly done teaser, tying it in directly with Arrow and having Ollie in the teaser. I think the costume looks silly, but then again the Arrow roaring "You have failed this city!" at the start of Season 1 was also really silly, and look how that turned out.
If I can give SHIELD 22 episodes to make me care then I can look past a potentially silly costume.

I think these guys costumes fit a little better

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I thought the costume looked pretty good. I might give this a watch when it comes on. I've never really given Arrow a chance... maybe I should go watch that.
I have to say this looks quite good. I like Arrow, but I was unsure how things would go once the superpowers started flying.
The potential pitfall I can already see is if it turns into "metahuman of the week," much like how Smallville was plagued by the "Kryptonite villain of the week" episodes early in its run. If they avoid jamming too many supervillains down our throats, build season-long stories like with Arrow, and also keep a series-long overarching story moving (the obvious Flashpoint-inspired material would seem to fit there), it's got a chance to be a real winner.
The million dollar question is if these characters are being prepped by WB for an appearance on larger screens...
I was kind of expecting that when Barry mentioned how his mother was killed, it's quite cool that they are straight up going for Professor Zoom and time travel in the first series.

The Green Arrow, Deathstroke, Dr Ivo, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Black Canary, The Flash, The Huntress and god knows who else have all appeared in Arrow; those are quite a lot of big DC characters.

Yeah, that was a surprise. I can see the narrative reasoning behind using him in the backstory. But it's still a surprise that they revealed him in the trailer. Then again, trailers are about getting people geeked up.

As far as I know, WB and all involved have either been mum or noncommittal. I think one of the execs made a comment about TV being a place where movie stars are made.
