I want a darn wraith unit! I don't care if Dark Eldar can't grow Wraithbone and have no infinity circuits! I demand an answer to my unreasonable demands!

I agree.

Given the haemonoculi skill set, I am sure they could find a way to make a wraith bone construct of some sort from their brethren.

IIRC in a previous edition dark eldar codex they did use wraithbone from wraithguard/lords to make spiritseeker (soulseeker?) ammo.

Uhm, any actual info to fuel the speculations? Are DE next in line? Not that there's much choice, anyways. If GW sticks to a "IOM - non-IOM" release schedule, there are only DE and Necs left to update, iirc.

On a further note- feth Finecast Incubis. I'm going to try and get at least another box of metal Incubi from eBay lol

got 20 of the metal ones, which I always liked more. 10 painted 10 in case I ever want to change my color scheme. Make sure you pick up some of them with Cloaks, as they are somewhere between super bad@$$ and super camp but it adds to the variety.

Hope their rules are playable in 7th

we just got wolves. GK got a new codex but no new models, not a full release.

If we are going SM then nonSM then we are right now up on a nonSM, then a SM, then a nonSM

DE BA Necrons

or

Necrons BA DE

of course they could go outside the pattern. They could release DA followed by CSM followed by C:SM then Tyranids and Tau and IG. Who knows.

Why would the put a conversion front & centre of an advert?

Wow, good catch, the books gone. Necrons are down to digital version only as well but the DE have no version at all.

Hmm... I could find a Mordheim related use for some plastic Wracks (if they don't change the design too much).

Even if the codex is bland, which seems to be the consensus with the latest releases, I think it will be better than what we have. Hopefully it makes a lot more of the units at least usable in a game.

As a Tyranid player, I like my new codex!

Skyblight and a Harridan make it even more fun to play with granted... but I like my flyers

And I am looking forward to a Dark Eldar codex as I've just put together an 1850 force with the current 'dex!

Having large Tyranid, Ork and Dark Eldar armies, I'm looking forward to a new codex. Can't say I've ever had any real problems using the former two Codex.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Grey knight players would also like to show their sympathy.

Although, DE are Phil Kelly's thing. His preference for the eldar race might just make this codex as insane as codex: Eldar?

I'm looking forward to a new dex. I've only run Kabalites in raiders as wyches are useless outside combat, which itself is a dangerous prospect as we all know due to Overwatch etc, with wracks being much the same.

I'm crossing my fingers for wyches being able to use their dodge save outside of combat, and for wracks / grotesques getting access to numerically more special weapons to make them all more viable builds, as the current "best uses" for both wyches and coven units are cost prohibitive and ineffective compared to a Kabalite gun line (for want of a better phrase).

So yeah, bring it on.

Honestly all our infantry is next to useless at the moment. No escape and st4 explosions has made arming my troops pointless. Just about every army can kill the majority of our troops without ever cracking our transports first, its stupid.

Tyranids now suck to face. E-shock grubs wounds the passengers on 2's with no save as well as score a s5 hit AND do an auto haywire hit. With no real sky fire a pair (usually 3) of flyrants alone has mauled me to dead by turn 2.

Every other codex either has drop podding/teleporting or torrent flamers galore. That rule is so fricking brutal its stupid.

I am hoping desperately that we get some new form of resiliency for our transports, as of now templates are too brutal, you can't even jink! The only armies without template/flamer type weapons in abundance are necrons and tau, and both those fights are insanely difficult matches.

Hopefully those Wracks are plastic. They are so similar to the current ones. The Acothyst is holding their gun in their other hand than the finecast version. Never built the current finecast wracks though, so I dunno how customizable the kit is.
