I don't know if combat squads will effect this though.
That would make sense i guess. We'll just have to wait and see. A new GK codex would be sweet but i have a feeling thats a long time coming.
That would but hey, think about this: Terminators and Paladins with 4+ Invul save through Sanctuary.
Storm shields and the +1 invul will be tougher.
Grey Knights don't have access to Storm Shields in our codex. Only henchman ever did but they have their own codex now.
Thought so. But if you ally with Dark Angels for Azrael you could take there termies which can do the TH/ SS combo if im not mistaken cast it on them and use your infinity gate to help them keep up with the rest of your army.

Feh.
Looks like humans and elves get all the goodies while the other xenos get left in the cold.
Now that I look at it, Orks only get Daemonology to which any of the two disciplines they roll any kind of doubles, they Peril...why would you do that? And why are the Tyranids absent from that chart?
Because xenos who don't look like something you'd want to have sex with can't get nice things.

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS. |

When I say Daemonology; I mean both Malefic and Sanctic. Force I believe means force weapon, which they've already had for a while.
I'm hoping for a table of gork and a table of mork, but after what they did to Tyranid psykers I'm not getting my hopes up.

Where did you see that it does not exist? I see "leaked photos" of the cards, and it's certainly there.

Do they all have force weapons?
Force as a spell is just the "activate force weapon" power that has always been around, you still need a force weapon.

I was thinking more along just plain terminators. I got excited and forgot paladin and GK term don't get them. Good catch thank you.

Hehe, I made the same mistake too when I first saw it.
But overall, I believe that a lot of the fears and "oh man this will be so powerful" talk will be proven wrong in practice because of the following:
1. Psychic powers are not as reliable anymore.
2. Your warp charges are not consistent.
3. There is defense against buffing spells.
Those combined I think are going to actually reduce the impact of psychic powers overall.

Summon entire units of daemons... as Eldar? So that unit of 10 warlocks with 2 farseers deathstar with their 16 psychic dice can now summon units of 10 daemons every turn while still having 6 to 7 dice left over to counter enemy casts or other buffs?
Ok then, sure, why not.

So my fledgeling GK army getting buffed off the bat?? I'm seeing this: Draigo + 10 pallies, 2 hammers, 8 swords, one sword has the narthecium. GK libby somewhere else for divination cast forewarning > regular GK's get 4++. Draigo casts sanctuary, +1, whole unit 3++, draigo 2++. CC happens, dudes with swords get 2++, hammers stay 3++. Im gonna have to get Draigo now (wasnt planning on it) *edit* Also, HOLY CRAP VORTEX OF DOOM :O If you're lucky, you can spam "vortex grenades" with a squad of interceptors.. there shall be no end to the horror!

So quick question... as "Force" is in its own school will you have to use one of your "choices" to utilize force weapons?
Additionally, if this is the case, will you be barred from getting the "free" primaris if you take a Force option?

That's a squad nuker right there.

Wat?
So the Tyranid table really is full of crappier versions of BRB powers.
God damn it.
Edit:
Oh thank god I thought GW really was dumb enough to make an already very damaging primaris power completely and utterly nuts.

5d6 psychic scream would have meant that telepathy spam would invalidate all but the largest concentrations of units with wound values.

To be honest the restrictions on who gets what table to roll on only seems to serve to further imbalance the game by completely screwing over some armies (Tyranids) while lathering others with love (Guard).
