OH-I Wanna get out of here

That makes sense. Why would you want the prison doors or mall doors if you don't have those expansions. My guess is the thought process is only the most hard core of Zombiciders will want the doors, and presumably they would have all the expansions.

I'm right there with you. I have 2 of pretty much everything Zombicide, and I'm struggling to find a good way to store it all together.

Blue Steel is here!

Update #37 Jul 16 2014 - $1,500k Reached! New Stretch Goals and Optional Buy Revealed!

The $1,500k mark has been shattered, unlocking the Experience Deck for all Patient 0 and Infected level backers!

And here is what we have in store for you for our next two stretch goals:

This far along in the Zombie apocalypse one might encounter some seasoned Survivors with a lot of zombie killing experience, and this is what our next Optional Buy is all about:

The Ultimate Survivors #1 box brings back all six classic Survivors from Season 1 as you’ve never seen them before! These battle-hardened survivors have a revamped Skill tree, and they all start the game with two Skills at the Blue Danger Level! Talk about a new take on the classics!

The Ultimate Survivors #1 box contains 6 brand new Survivor figures and their corresponding dashboards. But that’s not all! It also includes a massive Experience Deck with 110 cards!

This Experience Deck contains the same 54 Experience Cards all backers already got from the 1,500k Stretch Goal, as well as 56 other different Experience Cards. To know more about playing in Experience Mode, check out Update #35.

If you're interested in purchasing this optional buy, please just click the Manage Pledge button on the Zombicide Season 3 Kickstarter page and in the pledge manager add the amount of the item you'd like to add. We'll sort out what your extra money is going towards after the campaign has closed and we've sent out our pledge manger.

But by God don't go into the comments. Aside from the usual nonsense now the "OMG! The power creep! Oh noes!" crowd has gathered.

Don't forget the "Waa where are the Ultimate zombivores?", "Wot, still no S3 zombivores?!", "How about Ultimate versions of the S1 promos to get around the "we won't sell S1 promos again"?", "Argh! I bet they do Ultimate PO and Ultimate TCM next..." and of course "How dare they make me pay $25 for the other half of the free RPG card deck?!"

Quite frankly that was an insta-buy for me as the models look like they will be brilliant if the artwork is anything to go by. Plus we love playing an "all-in" game with every zombie type in existance and will need the extra lifesaver or Medic abilities once we get the pesky birds on top of everything else! We're also desperate for a barricade only set as we live behind our barricades and always run out.

I actually agree with the 'V2' survivors not being the best thing.

If you just own the retail copies of the game (outside of the 'guest boxes'), you're currently looking at a grand total of 16 survivors. This pack effectively replaces 6 of them - thematically, you can't have 2 of the same survivor in one game, and in term of game balance the new versions are just superior. They could have increased the number of unique 'official' survivors to 22, but instead elected to retread old ground.

Also, it might not be 'power creep' in the traditional competitive sense, but it's the classic "this new thing is better so you'll want to buy it" tactic.

They have also rather undermined their latest 'milestone' stretch goal with the information that 1) it isn't a 'complete' feature in itself, you'll need to pay more for that, and 2) the entire goal is going to be duplicated without any extra functionality if you buy this add-on.

Entirely optional of course, and something I'm still much more okay with than endless $10 KS exclusives!

Thiago has confirmed that there are no Ultimate Zombivor miniatures but the reverse of the survivor card will have stats for them you just use the regular Zombivor models.

Yep lots of complaints in the comments and the ultimate survivors have kicked off the whole S1promos thing again - although it does leave the door open and the #1 suggests there will be more but I'd rather ultimate versions of other boxed game survivors.

It's a shame the pack is 12 models. I'd've thought they'd want to do the Zombvivor minis for them.

CMON/GG did state in the first 2 kickstarters that they would never bring out new sculpts of the promo figures but the ultimate get around may get them out of it.

The amount of entitlement over in the update comments is staggering. People complaining about free stuff, people complaining about optional stuff, people complaining about game balance. You'd think they were being held at gun point to buy this board game....

I mean I'm surprised just how many included free extra Survivors we've received. When Zoolander came up I was expecting it to be another $10.

And people are complaining that they'd rather have more add-ons that are "complete," whatever that means, instead of "half-arsed" free stretch goals. It's like the free stuff just goes by the wayside, and people through up their blinders and ignore that the base 100 or 150 pledge levels have a TON of free stuff in them. CMON and GG don't have to do any of that. They could easily make every stretch goal a paid add-on, and people would then complain about something else.

I don't envy any of the community managers of this project. Man, do they have their work cut out for them...

As long as the pledge totals keep steadily going up, I think they can safely ignore all the useless chatter on the comments section.

Probably, though someone commented that numbering the experience cards would be a good idea, and I agree.

Same here. 69 doors is overkill (at least for me), but a few more barricades would be useful. Improvised barricades have the right look for urban warfare, so I'd like to use them in miniatures gaming as well as Zombicide.

Yes new sculpts for the original 6 survivors (no new Zombivors for them though)

I like the Ultimate survivors as other miniatures you can play with. Even though there are soon about a hundred survivors, my go-to guys are still the original 6. Honestly, they could just as well have stopped with Josh. Awesome sculpt, awesome dashboard, awesome character all 'round. But I'll be cool to play with a different miniature every now and then, though.

I feel you. I haven't pledged yet, and don't think I will. I skipped Season 2's Kickstarter and regretted missing all the promo figures, but this one just isn't stirring anything in me. Aside from wanting all the Big Bang Theory promos, I just can't get excited.

Not having played the game in months, the space concerns of adding even more expansions and figures, and general lack of interest in playing Pokemon with all of the promos I missed, I think I may sell my Season 1 stuff and start over with just the retail items.

I'd miss my molotov chucking Dave, though.
