The variance in the review call regarding Rodgers' rushing touchdown, and the Lions' 2 point conversion attempt was absurd.

Yah I didn't watch that game whembly but I was following it on my phone, Seemed brutal.

So it's
Seattle
GB
Dallas
Carolina
Arizona
Detroit

And
NE
Denver
Colts
Steelers(probably)
Bengals(probably)
Baltimore

Early predictions are
Seattle vs Carolina
Dallas vs GB

And
NE vs Indy
Denver vs Pitt

I thought they were both short, but if one is in then the other should have been as well.

Of course when your eyes are planted squarely on Rodgers' scrotum it's hard to see anything else.

Steelers won, which means they host Baltimore next week, while Cincy heads out to Indy (according to the early game "What's at stake" thing)... and ESPN is reporting that Pittsburgh won.

Sexy Rexy, Trestman, Harbaugh, M. smith all gone. Could be more before its all said and done. I wonder if coughlin retires and both NYC jobs become open. I'd say Atlanta looks like the best job because of Matt Ryan.

Except he really isn't as good as his regular season stats would indicate

Meh with Julio if they can get a legit defense and a coach that will instill toughness I'd say he'd be fine. He had mike smith as a coach and a mostly wet paper bag for defense his whole career. And if you look at most of his playoff losses he put up decent points but his defense got gashed in everyone giving up more than 28 points like 4 of the 5 games.

Felt really sorry for him during the Panthers game, you'd get about three of the Panther defence picking themselves us, leaving Ryan on the floor in a Family Guy-esque pose - he must have been on the floor twenty times, which must have been something of a shock if it had been 100 or so plays since he had last been sacked prior to that game.

I don't really disagree. It is fascinating to watch how Inept the NFL front office is though!

Ehh... after watching the video on youtube, I don't think it really warrants a suspension, EVEN with including his past behavior.

He was being pushed backwards, and so the first step was merely him trying to get his balance (notice his ankle buckle/roll a bit on the first step??) which led to the second step. Perhaps he lingered a bit longer than necessary, but I don't see a malicious intent in it.

Should he be fined?? Ehh, maybe... but I don't think this single incident warrants a suspension.

Either way, I don't think it will help Romo with his choking problem anyhow

That wasn't worthy of a suspension. He's a dirty prick, no doubt, but I didn't see anything worth extra discipline. Not like Raiola's stomp, or Suh's previous stomps/head slams/kicks/etc.

I'm actually rather glad about the overturn, not because I like Suh, but because I think Rodgers (and by extension the Packers) gets a few too many calls because he is Rodgers. Not unlike many other talented quarterbacks in NFL history, but annoying nonetheless.

The punt returner for Carolina Bursin is so bad. Botched punt then a no fair catch that let it roll an extra 15-20 yards. Carolina had the momentum but it's been ugly so far haha.

Stewart is a beast. They should just dump Williams and roll with Stewart. When the two share carries neither is good. Alone they are beast.

So for the second time a sub .500 team has made the playoffs they've won their first game in the playoffs. I don't think this is the worst thing in the world.
