Ok, So today I was at work(A family friendly waterpark) and I heard "Land of Confusion" Come on. That was weird, typically it is top 40s Then I hear the weirdest song ever to play there "Janies Got A gun." Then I "Love in an Elevator" play not to long. Most people dont pay attention to the songs, not even guests, but I do.
The play list guy must start hating his job or is an old man.

Old man? I remember when those songs were hot and new! You kids these days, no respect for your elders!

And now it's time for me to take my meds and go to sleep.

I would love that job.

If I ever become rich enough to be bored of not working, I will buy myself into a job where I choose the music at a popular place where no one really pays attention to it.

Then just carry on my CIV 3 game knowing if I get fired some other guy will let me do it there.

Gotta get richer first though.

Do you mean the disturbed cover, or the original by Genesis?

Because the Genesis version tends to feature on those 'Dad Rock' compliation albums (you know the ones, nice, fairly safe sounding rock music from the 70s-80s that apparently all dads listen to), which would be quite safe for an amusement/water park

What is it about Water Parks? I went to a child's birthday party at an indoor water park and the person taking care of the party room played Soulja Boy's Crank That. When asked about it she said kids love that song.

Spoiler:
If you look it up, which I don't recommend, "super soak that ho" is to ejaculate all over a woman whereas "superman that ho" is to ejaculate on a woman's back and throw a sheet on it so it sticks like a cape. You know, fun kids stuff.

To be fair though I wouldn't really know what music to play for kids as most pop music has some sexual undertone to it. That song seems a bit much though.

Taylor Swift? Kids seem to like her and she doesn't seem to advocate chugging rapid D. I'm not familiar with her lyrics, so could be wrong.

I would have thought they'd have a "kids party" playlist that gets updated every now any then.

I do, metal, and get a moshpit going. Get those kids to hit each other so you don't have to.

I don't know if you have any sway over such things, but "Pumped Up Kicks" is always my personal favorite to hear in family friendly public settings.

Hotsauce... there are times where I see you beginning to gain wisdom, and there are times you make posts like this and still strike me as that dumb kid...

Classic Rock is called so for a reason. Most of the "adults" at that park, you know, the ones who paid for the little ones running around to get in, would much rather listen to that stuff then the crap that passes as music today.

Seconded.

The music is for the adults, not the kids.

IT is true, I was singing it along and they said "What is this song" Then I died a little inside.

This is how I know the guy making the playlist has a sense of humor. That is played right before the closing announcement is made
