Kan has some pretty strong opinions (and I gotta say I don't think I agree with any more than 1/2 of them) but there do get to be some times when it seems that some of the threads have a "Beat up Kan" day.

It is understandable that he gets a bit touchy now and then, but I wouldn't have put your post as beyond the pale.

Then maybe he should answer them and instead answer the question of what compaines he was talking about. As we really like to what small company growing 75% in one year and nearly 25% in the years leading up that could of handle the the last quarter better. As the only company I can think of with that much growth had world wide stock problem and PP was much bigger then CB at the time.

So Kan what companies are you talking about.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

For the inexperienced, here's an example of it happening to another company. This very same thing happened to Paizo just this past September, with the release of the new version of their adventure card game, and its peripherals. Paizo had to adjust-- read delay-- their release schedules (for the decks, for Organized Play, etc) several times because of foul ups at the printers, Carta Mundi IIRC. It was a big release too. When a company relies on 3rd party printing, this will happen from time to time, as it did to CB previously with, hmmm, Paradiso? How may printers in Spain can handle this sort of thing anyway?

Do read the entire thread on BoW. Distributors expect to have it on the 15th, so retailers should have it within a week of that day-- The 19th was mentioned by Wayland Games, but how reliable are they? Given that it was to ship from CB on the 8th (as we were repeatedly informed), when were the distributors going to get it, or the retailers, anyway? CB never gave dates for that.

A delay will let my wallet recover a bit.
With anything rushed to deliver, it's best to see it take longer and done right. Nobody wants some rushed mess full of errors, defects, mistakes & what-have-you.

For those of you who might be
A) Too lazy to leave the house.
B) Want to save a buck.
C) Have a beef with Hobby Lobby (it's an American thing, we're a little special here).

No beef with Hobby Lobby, just that there is none close to me, and the local Michaels has 2 things in stock, Jack and Squat :( Thanks for the link. I suppose I could check out JoAnns though. Bit more of a drive...

And this is a Republic, not a Kingdom. We want nothing to do with Kings. Off with their heads I say. Although, sometimes I think it is a Kindergarten. And the teacher is out of the room.

Yup another company that had problem. But I ask becouse of this post....

And quite frankly, Icestorm was a joke with how badly handled it was. That should not have caused their last 2014 release month(November) to get cut down to just two releases.

We've been through this before. The Icestorm pre-orders were the equivalent of about two and a half months' production output. Not two and a half months' new releases - two and a half months entire output for the factory including new releases, restock orders for the 400+ other items in the range and their 15mm historical range.

I'll ask again, because you didn't answer last time - what's your experience in business/production?

So I'll ask again Kan what companies are you talking about.

Let's all settle down in here and get back to talking about the game we all love - INFINITY!

I like to think of this thread and the INFINITY sub-forums as our own little Kingdom within the Kingdom that is Dakka Dakka.

And it is usually a little bit happier in this Kingdom withing the Kingdom when compared to...the Kingdom at large!

In case that wasn't clear enough, or nice enough?, next one to ignore that advice gets an unhappy message.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing the redesigned Hac Tao in miniature form. And the new YJ HMG is so much better than the old one. A lot of Pan O players will be happy the Squalo is here.

That's the same Penny that was available at GenCon. So...2.

And the Squalo remake has been known about for ages. Hopefully it means the other 2 Stingray TAGs soon, as they'll just use the base CAD model for the Squalo to make the others.

Finally! Something that's not a rescu... oh.

Well, it's more exciting than a fusilier, I guess. I painted my old one in Acontecimento colours to use a Toni, so I'll be needing this.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

The Penny bootleg really is more of a Kum rider. Even her riding gear fits right in.

I'm fine with a new Squalo. I just don't care for how they redesigned the HMG for it. I'd rather see the Tikbalong over the Squalo though.

Hac Tao is pretty unnecessary though. I wonder why they decided to scrap the hacker release?

Honestly though, Spetsnaz is probably the only release among them that would remotely interest me.

Oh, so we'll find out in February...

Most likely it's one of the new CA units. Probably the Umbraa Legate or the Sygmaa.

You can barely make out the letter they smudged at the top of the logo.

My guess, it has something to do with the preorder BH.

The Bounty Hunter isn't a character and we know what the ABH logo is, so I highly doubt that unless they're changing the logo.

The Squalo concept has been floating around for a while. I guess we'll finally be getting the model:

And the Hac Tao concept has some details that are quite different from the recent (yet long ago) released Hac Tao model:

Spoiler:

Posting the Penthesilea for the record as well:

Finally, we have this Giraldez teaser image. Maybe the Squalo with a lot of ridiculous MSPaint liberties:

Are you sure that isn't Naruto queuing up multiple rasengans?

That almost has to be some kind of freakish new CA unit, color me intrigued

Hmm. A squalo would just about fill up the Pan-O points for my Icestorm box, maybe after they get the profiles readjusted and released I can start trying to figure one in.

The blurry quarter (or less) photo makes me think of the army builder software for some reason.

Although I like the potential of the N3 Hac Tao hacker, I am glad the HMG is getting a resculpt. The only good Hac Tao mini is the very first one they made. The rest are either completely out of scale with the line or have an ugly awkward pose.

That said, we don't know that it isn't a hacker with an HMG yet.
