That's from the first full metal alchemist series, isn't it? The one before brotherhood?
Is it me, or did the older series had the better art style? I liked Brotherhood, but I thought something was off with the aesthetics. Brotherhood still has the better pacing and story though.

1: Seven Deadly Sins: feth THIS MANIPULATIVE SHOW: Oh I was on your side all along, and that was a code. I was never truly evil. Seriously, feth it
2: School Live!: Im liking it. Seeing how she got her shovel was disturbing.
3: goddess of poverty Pretty fun show, looks like something is building up to be very insane, but im gonna have to wait
4: Erased: you know, everyone in my group says the reason he is happy is because he is at a time his mother actually loved him. But im saying the opposite. He realized even in the "present" when he was 28, his mother still loved him, but showed it in different ways after he grew up and didnt need to be taken care of.
5: Danki Gai: Yeah, this is ecchi im sure.
6: Kekkai Sensen: This anime doesnt have fights: it has finishing moves. Not even action, just........final attacks.

So we got the premier of Trigger's new show, Kiznaiver, tonight. Odd premise, and I have no idea where they plan to go with it, but man is it well animated. Very pretty. Must be investing all the money they saved with that dumb ninja show they did previously.

Is it me, or is Tenga Kamina? Because that guy totally looks like Kamina.

What got my attention this season was Mayoiga. A group of 30 people (and they do introduce all 30 characters!) is in a bus, travelling to a village where they can start all over again.

A shady bus tour of young men and women is headed to an elusive village called Nanakimura. A destination where people can partake in a utopian existence, free of the world's obstacles... or so goes the rumor.

Heading deep into the mountains, the bus is carrying 30 different individuals, each harboring their own expectations and troubled hearts...

What they had arrived to was an uninhabited village with lingering, faint scents of life and it was falling apart.

Just what is the secret of Nanakimura?

It's from the same director of "Another". Yes, I'm expecting so many people to die. 2 eps in, the mysterious vibe just keeps getting stronger, I'm loving it!

I don't think Mayoiga is going to pay off with such a large cast. Mari Okada did 2 shows this season (Mayoiga and Kiznaiver), and I think both shows are probably going to suffer for it.

Still watching yet more Naruto Shippuden. I'm taking WAY less time than I did before because I'm skipping all the fillers.

Also, 2nd brother started on Naruto! Yay animebros!

I stopped watching Naruto when they finished the long AU filler streak, teased maybe half an episode of getting back to the main story, and then kicked off a "the life and times of sasuke's dead brother" filler arc that's been going on for a couple of months now. It enfuriates me so much because the manga is over, and they've even made a movie with spoilers for the end of the series, but they won't actually finish the damn series.

Holy crap. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress got really good in the second episode already. I'm gonna declare the show an Attack on Titan clone, but their fight scenes and music are a lot better.

I'd actually expect the series to ultimately go down the path of Code Geass, because literally everything Ichirō Ōkouchi writes ends up at the same place in the end

Speaking of Code Geass, Big Order is basically what happens when you cross Jojo part 3 with Geass, Darker than Black and Mirai Nikki, with some Overlord thrown in.

That Rin chick is totally Yuno, its unreal, and Orders have what are basically stands.
Not too surprised that Big Order has a bit of Future Diary though; they share a creator.

It was an interesting first episode. That ending though...its sooo going to be taken out of context

Haven't watched anything in a several months, so I decided to re-watch YUYUSHIKI on a whim, it's still good.

I've gotten through the whole story by playing the video games. We generally skip fillers though. I do wish they could wrap it up, but then that might mean starting a Boruto anime, and that's the last thing I want

Still slogging through Trigun. Just got to the part with the Gungho guns.

Very interested in Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (the zombie steampunk train anime). Anyone know when/where it'll be available for official watching?

So, Hero Academy. Test next week where they have to race to defeat enemies worth varying amounts of points. There's one enemy that's designed to be annoying though not impossible to kill, but it awards zero points so they suggest you just try to avoid it if you see it. How blatantly obvious is it that the real test is to see who will stop and defeat this enemy that gains them no personal glory?

Yeah, its so obvious. If they introduce a scenario where this worthless enemy threatens some simulated civilians, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Oh, firehands rival kid will only defeat it because it was in his way and he's too bad arsed and didn't feel like going around. At the least he'll claim that. He's starting to act a bit tsundere.

Also, I have a sinking feeling that the kid can't activate his power unit the very last minute. So I'm expecting lots of running around and screaming.

I'm kind of disappointed he got a quirk though. I was expecting him to build an exosuit or something, and be like batman, using his intelligence instead of genetics.
I get that its kind of needed for the plot, but it would have been interesting to see.

Maybe they will introduce a villain like that, a quirkless who studies heroes, determines their weaknesses and exploits them.

Uuuhhhhhh.....

Does anyone want spoilers on next week's Hero Academy?

Nah, I'd rather just speculate than know for sure.

Show them a kids show like Hellsing Ultimate, Psycho Pass or GITS
